So she was Abaven. Returned to Alacritis, sans her siblings; she found her way back to the one who she hoped had not disappeared on her - and he had not. It was reassuring, even if he had given news that her mother had not been around. There was still... someone left. Even if her old pack was gone, there was still a constant... and that in itself was a blessing.
Regardless, though, she felt the urge to wander. Abaven... was not yet a home for her. She did not know the occupants. The only one she knew was Bass, and so much had happened in the years of her absence that she felt estranged from his life, and rightfully so. She did not know his mate. She did not know his children, who were nearly adults. She did not know any of the pack, and she simply felt awkward.
Which was why she ended up here, in the South. Just a slight wandering away, even if it was so soon after becoming part of Bass' pack. She wasn't even sure if her pelt carried the scent of the pack yet, or if it still held the scent of the loner - or perhaps an odd mix of the two. She didn't let her mind dwell on it long; instead she listened to the soothing roar of the river as it flowed past her, a sigh leaving her. The solitude was nice.
