Open to any and all packmates ^^

Tension rolled in her features as the ocean colored woman pressed her way through the territory, intent on claiming the life of something to eat as she pressed forward. It hadn’t been a good day, she didn’t know why; she’d just been in a rather sour disposition since she woke up. Her limbs carried her across the once stranger lands as she recalled the siege. Her shoulder had long since completely healed, of course, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t be reminded of the pain that the injury had caused her. She drew in a deep breath, analyzing the scents that filled the air, dividing it out into multiple things – packmates, prey, possible predators, plants… all of the scents lived harmoniously together. In a way, it was amazing.

Her paws hit the ground in soft thuds as she ran, running to clear her head maybe, figure out why she was being so bitter over literally nothing. Hell if she knew. She gave a soft snort as she found herself heading in the direction of the rapids, parts of the thicket catching on her fur though not enough to snag it, just run through it. A soft sigh followed as she continued her steady gait.

On this particular day, the young man found himself enjoying a pleasant stroll through the thicket, admiring the wonders of spring. He took in several breaths of air, savouring the enticing aromas that lingered in his nose as his ears tuned into the relaxing melodies sung by the birds. The day seemed slow and lazy though peaceful nonetheless. So calming that his mind had fallen into a daze, all troubling thoughts evading from his head as he concentrated on the colour, sounds and scents.

This meant he was also unaware of his friend running straight behind him, taking no notice of hr thundering paws. As he continued to walk through the thicket, a larger, blue form whizzed past him, buffeting his chestnut fur with the breeze that followed her. The sudden movement startled him out of his daze, and he had to blink a few times to wake himself up. Disorientated, he almost lost his footing and stumbled to the ground, though soon steadied himself. Wow, he should pay attention more. Hopefully his friend would have noticed him and would be willing to join him. They hadn't talked in a while, though at least in the past season or so he had made the effort to meet the rest of Abaven and be productive around the pack. Not enough to receive a promotion, however that was a problem for another day.
