We will know peace

White doves and silver bells, the two best girls of the world unrelated to the Elementas themselves would be integrating themselves totally and completely into the elemental family – soon! His sweet Anais had agreed wholly to all his propositions, even the idea of a full out occasion and marrying him beside Voltage and his brothers bride-to-be. Of course, there was still plenty of planning left to sort out. There would getting the news to their neighboring packs, and hunting and gathering for a great feast. Glacier could be patient, Anais already lived beside him, they where already raising the two most wonderful children, and he could be the most patient creature in the world to make the coming day perfect for Anais, and of course for Voltage. Speaking of, he was searching for that brother of his. The lightning boy wouldn't be found in the temporary den he had claimed on the Praire, but the Titan would move on unfazed, as he began to descend up the cliff that was well loved by their entire family. Voltage was sitting on the cliffs edge, staring out at the rolling waves. Spring hadn't been kind to them, this year. But then again, spring was always a rather bittersweet season, wasn't it? The anniversary of their births and their exile into the world, when they all...well, most, realized they were better together. The claiming of the beach, but then the subsequent flooding of the beach. This season had been a busy one, a...fantastic but unlucky one. He sighed softly as he stared at the ocean, his ears flicking forward before back as he heard someone approach. Instantly he knew who it was, perhaps by the pawsteps or the slight bit of scent he got. "It's receding.." His voice was soft as he tilted his head back to look at his Big Brother with a gentle smile. "What's shakin, bacon?" He asked with a gentle laugh, looking back at the water. With their respective families, and job as alphas, they didn't spent as much time as they used too, but that didn't mean they were any less familiare with each other. No matter what their conversation would be, Voltage never felt any less relaxed and at ease. He loved his brother dearly, as much and equally as he loved everything else in this world. "Gaia and I are expecting another litter." Perhaps it was the oddest time to let out that bit of news, but he was sure Glacier already knew already. And besides, he was a bit excited, and really, when had Voltage ever waited for the best moment to do anything? He just did it. "Burn Baby Burn" |

The cliff top was loved by all, and it would be no surprise to Glacier that his guess had not led him astray. He would find his brother there, contemplating life and the seasons, or so he assumed. His first words would be an observation and Glacier lifted his eyes to a view beyond the cliffs as he looked for himself. Voltage was right, of course, already the water seemed that little bit shallower, each push of the tide seemed to fall a little bit shorter. Glacier smiled, already contemplating what it would be like to show his little girls the wonder of the beach. He rolled his eyes heavenward as Voltage spoke, but his lips where moving into a smile. “Life is definitely shaking, nothing is as it was and never will be again... but I kind of like that” he teased, his thoughts never far from the marriage. Of course, Glacier's next breath turned into a choked cough and Volt's carefree words. Once the coughing subsided and he could breath freely again he moved over to Volt's side, nudging his shoulder. “Congratulations” he said softly, his carefree grin returning in force. “I want this pack flooded with little trouble makers, and our siblings certainly aren't contributing” he joked. Voltage would look at his brother with a gentle grin as he spoke of things changing. But really, when had their life been anything but a moving force, an unrelenting existence of swirling and unanticipated changes. They lived in a tide of to and fro, and never would they know when their paws would touch land or they would be lost to sea. But they managed, they survived, they thrived. "Each day is a new day, and nothing we ever do will bring Yesterday back around." He said softly, his eyes staring pointedly at the ocean. "Things get lost, new things come, and what is already here becomes just a little bit different." He whispered softly, his head tilted as he lost himself to thought. "We live between seconds of time..." He shook himself at the nudge to his shoulder, and he looked back at his brother with a carefree grin. "We hope it will help us heal. Not...replace what we have lost, but to bring a little ray of light back into our lives." He whispered softly, leaning heavily against his brother. "Aurora and Seraphiel will have little ones to play with. Can you imagine. We might finally have biten off more than we can chew. " He laughed freely then, looking up at his brother with a toothy grin and glittering eyes. "Our family grows bigger by the year, brother." He whispered softly. "We'll run out of elements before you and I take our last breath, with the way things are going. Could you imagine? An entire universe locked away in our little pack. The world would never see it coming." It was a joke, perhaps a slightly morbid one, but not one that had his smile faulter any. "You came looking for me, Glace. What's on your mind? You never did tell me how Ani reacted to our little setup." "Burn Baby Burn" |

Glacier could only grin, “Aye, great sage” he teased his litter mate fondly. When Voltage brought their words back to the coming litter, Glacier would only nod softly, and pull his brother close. He could understand the sentiment, and well he still hoped every day for the return of those they had lost, he was glad that Voltage looked upon this as a chance to heal. He laughed softly alongside his brother at the mention of biting off more then they could chew. “Aye, we'll have to employ some of our siblings as full time babysitters” he agreed softly. “We are all the elements and all the elements are ours, its only fitting to see them living and thriving here within our lands” he mused. His grin would only widen at the course of the conversation. “Anais was over the moon, she accepted with all her heart. Now we just need to plan that wedding...” he said, a little awed. It would be a lot of planning, knowing Voltage's vision of the day, of the packs that would come, their family in attendance, it would be a wonderful day. "Burn Baby Burn" |
