Musings and Discontent

The woman was alone as she patrolled the Red Forest. Duty and interest were what filled her time, and today it was to be on the dutiful side of things. A patrol around the borders of her pack was the first step... But after that? Perhaps a hunt, maybe a spar... Something to keep her moving. The woman was deep in thought, mind shifting with thoughts of her parents and siblings. It was such a shame that the Black family never followed her to Alacritis. She honestly missed them and was reminded how much of a stranger she was here. Even in her own pack she felt the sting of difference. Was that her fault or the fault of her pack? Bernie had interacted sparingly with them. Perhaps she had not given them much of a chance. She would let out a heavy sigh, her gaze passing through the trees. How much longer would she keep up this facade of a false name? It seemed none took her seriously anyway so why would giving her real name make a difference? She would give a soft snort, discontent settling deep in her chest as she dropper her rear end to the earth. “Bah!” She’d growl to herself. She wasn’t helping anyone in this sort of state. |
