IRIE DIAMÁCHI She had to admit, the land was beautiful. Grasses were beginning to grow on the outer edges of the territory, though there was a bit of flooding in the river. Not much, though, since the West was a pretty dry area that didn't have much snow. This area, of course, had a bit of snow since it was not quite a desert like the rest of the West appeared to be. She did prefer her home in Southern Alacritia... but she saw the appeal in the lands here in the North. What she didn't see was the appeal of the packs. She could smell the border, smell the restriction of freedom... even with one such as Mithras as a leader. She was utterly thankful for her ability to come and go; utterly thankful to have her freedom... and yes, still worried for Mithras. She lurked around the borders in-between the Emerald Valley and the Whistling Willows, hoping to perhaps catch the scent of Mithras. "Talk" "You" Think

Mithras waited for the meeting to disperse before seeking out his old friend. The earthen female was waiting for him at the joining point of both of his lands and the free realm beyond. She seemed... occupied. Mentally, that is, because she wasn't doing much at all besides sitting there. Mithras approached warily, still worried he was going to get yelled at. He'd only done what had to be done, and he was sorry that it hadn't been able to be done by their guidelines. He really did love and respect their lives, but that wasn't what he needed right now. He sighed. "Irie. You look good. How was the trip up?" He was probably damning himself by giving her an opportunity to speak, but who could resist a little small talk? Honestly, he just hoped it would make her laugh. "Like the view?" The smile he gave her was sheepish, obviously still waiting for him to tear into him. He owed it to her to let her vent on him anyways, she'd earned it. She'd taught him a lot and helped it when he needed it most. The astral man would always count her among his closest friends. - Mithras

IRIE DIAMÁCHI ooc. feel free to prod me if I take so long!! o.o I took way too long with this! It seems she wouldn't have to track the man down, for he came to her with little troubles. She would raise her head, a soft smile on her face as the starry furred wolf approached. She dipped her head to him in greeting, and he would talk. Small talk, certainly, but she would indulge him before letting free her thoughts. "The trip up was beautiful. The lands up here... they are truly spectacular, and in a unique way from the Southern lands. Perhaps us Diamachi should wander into the North more often," she laughed quietly, before it faded away. Us Diamachi; Mithras was no longer one of them. She sighed softly, nodding in answer to his other question. "It's beautiful here. I can see the appeal in these lands, the desire to stay," she confessed. She didn't quite want to talk about the silent... issue? that hung between them. Not yet. "How are your daughters, Mithras?" She had not spent as much time with them as she would desire to, which was... saddening to say the least. "Talk" "You" Think

Irie seemed... Pleasant enough. Or at least she didn't have her teeth buried in any of his limbs, which was a lot more than he'd hoped for at first! She claimed that her trip had been enjoyable and mentioned more visits northward. At that his mouth cracked into a broad grin. It was lovely up here, he thought fondly. So varied and unique, something new around every corner. "The world itself is a wonder," he remarked with a smile. "No one place can trump another." The scent of earth and life was all around them, mingling in the wind, their sounds filling his ears. He took in a deep breath, and let it out slowly.

Irie asked about the girls and his grin grew wider yet. He laughed and looked skyward, trying to get his words in order. "Ahh, where to begin." There was so much he wanted to tell her, so much she had missed! He didn't realize how desperately he'd missed all his friends in the south; he'd been too busy to think of anything else at all, in fact. "Leto is the oldest. She is fiery like my sister Caia. Artemis was born next, and she is more like me. Takes a while to warm up to people, but she's a sweetheart. Iskra is the youngest. She much quieter than her sisters, and takes more after her mother." He laughed, mind sifting through all the hell they'd already put him through in their short lives, trying to find just one story to tell, but he couldn't pick. All he could do was laugh and shrug, and wait to see what Irie made of it all.
