Internal Cannon
It'd taken a lot of time and a lot of patience but she'd finally managed to escape the south west portion of Alacritia. She'd spent a good amount of time just wandering aimlessly but she realized that the temperatures were dropping slightly and that it wasn't quite as miserable anymore. It didn't take her long to deduct that she must have been heading north (well north-ish really) but that didn't really bother her. Her adventure at the tar pits had been enough to convince her that she'd had enough of the western parts of this continent. The place had been filthy and disgusting and she absolutely never wanted to go back there. So lots of walking and many breaks later she found herself touching the flowers of a field. This place smelled so much better than the tar pits and she was more than thankful to be away from that place. A contended sigh left her as she sniffed around the flowers for a bit letting her tail drag lazily behind her. Ears flicked back and forth as she listened for anyone who might try to sneak up on her but she heard nothing for the moment. She recognized the scents of many of the flowers here. Still she had nothing to carry any of them with so she moved on as she wasn't interested in picking any of them yet. She was prepared to continue walking until her feet brought her to something she definitely wasn't expecting. Letting out a yelp of surprise she shifted her weight backwards as one of her feet suddenly met nothing but air. Was there a cliff here? How? Ears flicked forward as she caught the sound of wind whistling below her and listened to the echo of her yip bounce across the space downwards. Yep. Definitely a cliff. Her brows furrowed together in disappointment. Well that was a shame. She'd been looking forward to continuing her trek. Oh well. Instead she sat down at the edge of the cliff and raised her head slightly to enjoy the breeze as it ruffled her fur. It was warm out and it was about noon. She saw no reason why she couldn't enjoy a bit of time here before she moved back to go find something to eat. Walk, "Talk" Think |

Paw pads of someone heavier than hers were the first signs that someone else would be arriving. It wasn't long before the wind shifted and the scent of a young male flooded her senses. Other than flicking an ear in his direction, that was the only sign she'd give that she knew he was there. She highly doubted he was going to shove her off the cliff or anything. At least if he'd planned on it he would have been quieter about his approach. He didn't give off the impression that he had any ill intent so she didn't mind his approach. "It’s peaceful isn’t it?" She swiveled her silken silver head in his direction and nodded softly at his words. She supposed it was rather tranquil to sit here. "It is. There's something about sitting on the edge of a cliff that makes it oddly thrilling." There was no sarcasm in her tone, for once, and she fully believed what she said. She couldn't see the sight that was down below but she could imagine it was quite beautiful. She tried her best to picture what she must look like above what must be a large chasm. It didn't come to her but it was an interesting thought. "Did you come here for some peace and quiet?" She asked him curiously. Walk, "Talk" Think |
