His journey called for a nap. Pronto.
It was easy for the man to catch a rabbit as a light snack prior to his nap despite the pain in his chest and on his face from the bear attack he survived a meer two weeks earlier. The wounds were still some what fresh, barely even half healed, really. It was painful to move around, but it was only his chest. Thankfully, the claw that snagged his throat and trachea was the smaller of the claws and hardly did any damage aside from the raspy voice that may be permanent.
The rabbit carcass was cast aside once he finished, the bones picked nearly clean and left on the floor of the enterance to this human structure. Only a few feet away, the man settled himself down for a nap. Sleep wasn't easy these days, his dreams haunted with memories of the murder and quickly turning into a terrifying nightmare. It doesnt matter what dream he's having - it always ends the same.
Not that great of odds, really, but his body was exhausted. He could get in probably an hour of sleep before the nightmare began and he'd be scared awake again.Better than nothing, he guessed and shrugged before relaxing on the cool surface of this human structure. It hadn't smelt like anyone had been here in quite some time, so maybe he'd get some peace before he'd be awake again.
