Carletta was resting, though dawn had already come to the world. Soon the little ones would be up and about, perhaps asking where their aunty was or asking for food or... Goodness knew how many different things! Carletta had never thought motherhood could be full of so many questions... But at the same time she was glad. Very glad that she had taken the little Elementas children in as her own. Right now they were too little to know the truth of their real mother... So for now Carletta had told them a story. That a great wolfess of the elements was their real mother and she had gifted her with them. Not necessarily a complete lie, but not a whole truth either. She would do what she could to teach them of their heritage and also protect them. Without even realizing it the femme had started to lightly doze. Hopefully the little ones wouldn’t get into too much trouble...

He peeked out from the cave that made their home, looking around for his mother and auntie. When he saw that mommy was dosing off, a large grin spread across his maw. Tip toeing outside, he came up to Carletta's side. His target was the white tip of her tail, his rump wiggling as he trotted closer and closer. He was gonna get her tail and he was gonna get it good! He tried very carefully to walk silently on the warm ground, his yellow eyes constantly flitting towards her spotted features to make sure she stayed asleep. It would be no good if she woke up before he got her tail! He was planning to bite down hard and thrash his head back and forth. He was going to bite the crap out of her tail! And she was asleep, so there was nothing that she could do about it! At least not until his sister let out a guttural cry and launched herself into his side. He let out a yowl and tried to get up, but it was no use. She was sitting on top of him, already larger than he was. Growling and yowling from under her, he flailed as he tried to let loose. "SPEAK"

She was peacefully sleeping in their den until she felt the absence of her brother at her side. Slowly she blinked open her silver eyes, catching his tail wiggling as he crept out of the den. Yawning, she rose to her paws and stretched, jaws clicking shut with an audible sound. If Pheonix was up already, he was up to no good and that was certain. Quickly trotting after him, her head tilted to the side as she watched him crouch and go for their mother's tail. It took her awhile to register what he was going, and when she did her eyes grew wide. Letting out a battle cry, she raced towards her brother and easily bowled him over, toppling him to his side. Quickly she hopped on top of him, siting her butt on his back and pinning him to the ground. Ha! She got him! "¡No vas a ninguna parte! Tengo que bueno, y he salvado mamá!" She called. She held her head high, her chest puffing out in pride. "SPEAK" "SPEAK SPANISH"

The femme stirred only once the sound of her daughter’s voice reached her ears. They twitched a couple times before blue eyes slid open, head tilting to the side her children were on. Sure enough both were awake, little Ashelynn sitting on top of Phoenix. Carletta chuckled softly at the sight, her gaze kindly as she tilted her head to the side. "Mi mi , lo que están haciendo dos amores ?" Sure the femme knew Phoenix was a handful but even then she tried to give him the benefit of the doubt.

A yawn left the she wolf as she drew upward, curling her tail around her legs with a gentle grin on her face. She stuck her tongue out at the children, guessing that Phoenix might be in a sour mood after he’d been sat on. "¿Cómo le gustaría a los niños ir a la aventura de hoy ?" She asked. They were old enough right? At least for the first trip out of the den.

Ashelynn's tail was wagging against his back, and the little boy let out a loud roar. He wiggled back and forth, but it was no use. He was trapped under his larger sister. A grumpy look crossed her face, his brows knitting together. "Obtenga su gordo trasero de encima! Usted Ashelynn tan gordo, que me está aplastando!" Pheonix called up at her, hoping that it would encourage her to get her big fat butt off of him. Their mother asked them what they were doing, and hid bright yellow gaze shot towards their speckled dame. "Momma que está aplastando mi grasa! Estás a tener que raspar la roca," His eyes begged her to help him out, even though he didn't want outwardly admit that he needed assistance. Carletta then talked about an adventure, and Pheonix wiggled even harder from under his sister. "Quiero ir, quiero ir!" He wouldn't be going anywhere with Ashe's big butt on him though. Ashelynn got off of him when their mother spoke about going out, and the boy quickly picked himself up off the warm ground. Shaking out his fur, he kicked some of the reddish dust that settled on his coat. He turned and glared at his sister, his ears pulling flat against his skull. Without warning he launched himself at her, his jaws parting as he bit down on the left side of her rump. When she yelped out in pain he grinned, trying to latch on with his legs to keep a grip on her rump. "Voy a tomar un poco de esa grasa de su trasero!" He called, the adventure forgotten about for the moment. "SPEAK"

The girl wiggled her rump on her brothers back, her tail twisting through his fiery fur. She giggled wildly as she bounced lightly on her paws, squishing her brother further into the rock. He was not getting off this easily, not after trying to bite their mother's tail. Ashe looked up when Carletta woke up and turned around to them, asking them what they were doing. "¡Te salvé! Iba a morderse la cola pero luego lo abordó y se sentó en él y ahora sigo sentado en él para que él no puede conseguir que!" She called really quickly, her words rushing out in one big gust of air. She took a deep breath after it, her tail thumping against her brother's back. Pheonix told her that she had a fat butt and she looked down at him, sticking her tongue out at him. Well he was being a bigger butt! Trying to attack their momma, pfft. What a bum, such a bum! Her chin tipped upwards, a huff leaving her maw. She wasn't getting off of him, no way! Well, not until an adventure was offered. She perked up, turning to look at the spotted female. Oh, a trip away from the den? They hadn't done that yet! She let out an excited yip, hopping off of Pheonix and rubbing against her mother's leg. "¿A dónde vamos mamá?" She asked, her head tilting to the side. There was so much to see, and she couldn't wait! Her excitement didn't last long though, her eyes growing wide when Pheonix bit into her rump. She yelped, spinning around to try and bite at his face. She couldn't quite reach though, a stream of whines leaving her maw as she tried to get him off. "¿Por qué eres tan cruel?" she called, ears pressing flat to her skull as she wagged her tail, swatting it against his face. "SPEAK" "SPEAK SPANISH"

Carletta couldn’t help but chuckle at her son’s remark. So Ashelynn was squishing her little brother flat, huh? "¿Voy a? Bueno eso no sirve para nada verdad? Mueva favor , Ash." The silvery-gray female would turn her blue eyes on her daughter, seeing her get off Phoenix with the mention of adventure. Well that was something, right?

She couldn’t help but feel bad that this whole thing was caused because Phoenix wanted to nom her tail. While she was proud of Ash for wanting to protect her she knew that Phoenix was just a mischievous little male. In all honesty his behavior didn’t seem too much out of the ordinary. He was just a little baby after all! But then Phoenix went for his payback, and it was all Carletta could do to keep from giggling again.

"Ahora Phoenix, que no es muy agradable . Vamos, no quiere ir a la aventura también?" She stood, wagging her tail as she motioned towards the den entrance.

It never failed, whenever she got closer to the den she could always hear some sort of commotion coming from inside. She chuckled softly as she padded up the mountain toward their den, hearing the pups yelling about Phoenix causing some trouble. As always. They were certainly a paw full. She hadn't known what to think when she came to find Carletta and found her with two pups. She hadn't expected to be an aunt so suddenly, but she couldn't imagine refusing that role, especially not after Carletta told her their story.

She heard her sister declaring some sort of challenge for them to be the first out of the den to avoid being a rotten mushroom. An adventure, hm? Well, she came back just in time, didn't she! "¡Estoy muy contento de estar aquí ya entonces! ¡No quiero ser un hongo podrido!" she exclaimed as she stopped just outside the den, laughing lightly while she waited for them to come tumbling out as well.

He bit down on his sisters butt, pulling a nice howl from her. He bit down hard until he tasted blood, and then jumped away, startled. Ashelynn was whimpering, and he licked his lips at the odd coppery taste. Pheonix's nose wrinkled up, and his tongue stuck out of his teeth. "Su trasero tiene un sabor bruto. Se roció el jugo extraña a mí." He muttered, glaring at the taller girl. When their mother asked if he too wanted to go on a trip, he eagerly nodded his head. He was about to answer when she claimed that the last one out would be a rotten mushroom. Oh no! He had to beat Ashe! Kicking it into high gear, he raced forward and tried to trip her, as she was already ahead of him. He missed, and growled when her tail swatted him in the face. He bit down on it, but only pulled out a few hairs. She cried out again, slowing just enough to pass her. Pheonix was so focused on beating his litter mate that he didn't see his Auntie until it was too late. Scrabbling on the warm ground, he wasn't able to stop himself and slammed into her front legs. He fell with an oof, flopping on his butt. He blinked up in surprise, his tail wagging at the sight of auntie Amaia. He laughed when she claimed she was already out, and was about to note on that when he felt a sharp tug on his tail. With a roar he turned around, spotting Ashelynn with her teeth in his tail. He jumped at her, and the two of them rolled around on the ground as they scrapped with each other. They were getting dangerously close the the edge... "SPEAK" "SPEAK SPANISH"

Her ears pulled back to her head as she let out a louder cry of pain, twisting around to see strange red marks where her brothers teeth had been. She sniffled at the pain, tossing him the best glare she could manage. But then their mother proposed a race, and she tried to pick up the pace. Ashe felt her brother's paw graze against her back legs, but he wasn't able to trip her. But then he bit on her tail, pulling out a few strands of grey hair. The young girl cried out again, the pain slowing her down. Oh no! That stupid flame butt was ahead of her now! She tried to run faster and faster, but he was already ahead of her. Lucky for her though, cause she saw Auntie Amaia before Pheonix did. He watched as he slammed right into her, laughing as he flopped back. She was able to slow down in good time, prancing to a stop. As her brother's tail wagged, she saw her chance. Dropping into a crouch, she crept closer and closer to his red marked appendange. Without secon thought she jumped, latching her teeth in the bit of flesh and bone that was there. It was his turn to let out a cry of pain, but he was on her too fast. Squeaking, she tried to back track towards their mother, but Pheonix was too fast. He tackled her head on, but she jumped up to meet him. Around and around they went, each trying to pin the other to the ground. Ashe let out a series of yips and growls, trying to use her lager size to her advantage. She too did not feel the sudden dip in the ground, or the fact that their scrap was taking them to the edge of the volcano. It was a very far drop if they didn't get stopped soon. "SPEAK" "SPEAK SPANISH"

Yet Phoenix drew blood from Ashe and the female gave a worried whine, ears peeling back. "¡Fénix!" The female watched them leave, a sigh passing her lips. Goodness, if it wasn’t for her sister sometimes she wondered how she’d handle to two little fluffballs. She padded out of the den and, surprise surprise, Ashe and Phoenix were tumbling on the ground, wrestling each other. Normally the submissive femme might have let them sort things out themselves, but this time they were starting to get close to the edge. Carletta didn’t think... She acted. The female lunged over to the two pups, plopping down almost over the edge herself. One back leg slipped over the side as she caught herself, hoping to use her body as a buffer for the two rolling children. "¡Suficiente! Detenerlo ahora mismo!" Carletta cried desperately.
