Awaken's sides were flickering with his panting breath... He'd just ran all the way from the heart of glaciem to the boarder of Amenti, turned around and sprinted back. He was so exausted he felt as if his muscles would give out. The resistance of the snow didn't help his run either. It'd taken him all day. But, winning the fight against the crazed monster that was on her way would be worth it... If he survives the fight. ?He laid down in the snow untill he could catch his breath. Letting his strained muscles cool. He'd spent a while trying to get fat then turn that fat into muscle by burning it off. So far it's been working. He'd put on atleast 10 lbs. Of muscle in a two week period.

Awaken got up and shook thr snow from his back, glancing around the fresh snow. He slowly walked forward to a nearby puddle, drinking as much water as he could stand to drink. His tail hung limp behind him and his stance was relaxed as usual. He's really gambled by running so close to the Amenti boarder... He'd almost gotten himself mauled there once. The heat radiating off him was entense, almost enough to melt the snow around him. He needed to get back to work if he wanted to win this... Then it hit him... He needed someone to train with. He let out a howl to call someone to him. He hoped for someone big like Gargoyle or someone skilled like Cifer or just to meet someone new.

The ever-present expanse of snow was one of the things Capir liked the most about Glaciem. He loved hearing the chilly winds whistling around heaping snow drifts and glaciers moving too slow for the eye to see. He loved feeling the snow give under his paws and spray out behind him as he went on his daily runs around the territory. He had grown up in a frigid landscape much like this one and had missed running over a terrain that put up a fight against you as you ran through it. Although he enjoyed the extra boost of speed his strong leg muscles gave him over grass, he felt as though he wasn't doing anything but getting somewhere. Running over snow gave him the feeling that even the process of going from point A to point B was strengthening him. His jaws parted in a half pant, half smile as Capir began to feel the beginnings of a runner's high, the swishing of the snow and the thrumming of his large paws striking the frozen earth singing in his ears.

Then another song met his ears, the distant howl of a comrade in need of company. The call didn't appear to be very urgent or to be calling for someone of high rank. He wondered what anyone would need to howl for other than to meet a newcomer on the border or sound the alarm for trouble. Intrigued, Capir changed his course. His long legs soon brought him near to the source of the call, and he slowed to a stop, still quite a distance away. It was a male wolf, and he was alone. Capir didn't recognize his scent, but could smell Glaciem on him and knew he wasn't an intruder. Moving again, he cantered up to the gentleman, his tail low and swaying in a silent, polite greeting to a peer.

"Good afternoon," he greeted with a nod, taking a seat near the other wolf.

Awaken gave an irritated growl at the thought of what was soon to come. An enormous striped beast comming to take his life. Death in cat form. A she-devil comming to claim him as her own. The horrifyingly huge claws and forcefull muscles that could tear any wolf down... The odd were stacked against him. Failure was almost insured but he had to try! Awaken was NOT the kind of wolf to lay down and let someone walk all over him.?

?Before he knew it a large male was next to him. The ebony fur on his back rose, his white arsenal of teeth showing past his slick black lips. His muzzle crinkled menacingly in a silent snarl. Luckily, he had his back to the male so none of this was visable. He didn't know him but he smelt like Glaciem. His bottled up rage settled down once more. His fur returning to the nape of his neck, his lips recovering his deadly weapons and his demeanor changing in an instant.

?? He turned greeting the male, as politely as he could, and as typical Awaken. No words. He simply nodded a silent 'hello'. He looked the other male over silently. His emerald eyes scanning his physque. He looked like a strong wolf, someone who could possibly help him train. "Do you, by any chance, want to help me train for an impending fight." He asked abruptly. Awaken was never the wolf to beat around the bush, right to the stuff that matters. "I have to fight a 700 pound siberian tiger-b***" ?

Capir thought he saw the dark wolf's fur bristle along his spine, but the stranger calmed so quickly that Capir wasn't sure if he had just imagined it or not. The stranger, now calm and cordial, nodded a polite greeting to him, and Capir became aware that he was sizing him up. He instinctively did the same, noting the bulkier shape of the younger wolf.

"Do you, by any chance, want to help me train for an impending fight?" the stranger asked. Capir raised his gaze to the stranger's face to acknowledge that he was listening. "I have to fight a 700 pound siberian tiger-b***."

A few moments of silence passed as Capir stared blankly at the stranger, not quite sure he should believe that he had really heard what he thought he'd heard. The stranger didn't appear to be mentally impaired in any way. His eyes, bright as a sunlit leaf, were clear and focused, and his facial expression and body language was calm and steady. Yet his words didn't add up in Capir's head. Capir's brows slowly descended on his forehead as he tried to wrap his mind around the stranger's statement.
"A . . . tiger," he started neutrally, trying not to sound too skeptical. "Are you by any chance using some sort of metaphor, or do you mean a literal . . . tiger?" Capir's smoking brain cells silently begged the stranger to say that he didn't mean an actual tiger, but the blunt conviction in the stranger's voice convinced Capir that, for all his wishing, he would not.

"Good god i wish i was using a metaphore!" He sighed. He hated how his past would come back to haunt him so frequently. He noticed the look of confusion on the other wolf's face. He gave a sigh before getting up. "some of my old demons are comming back to haunt me and if i want to stay in this pack i have to fight her.

The images of six large rocks in a ring and him rebounding off one and slaming into the side of a huge white tiger, bringing her to her knees in battle, ran through his head. He could remember the final blow but he couldnt remember much else. And he looked much diffrent. He looked more muscular and savage. He would have to resort back to his savagry hed forgoten long ago. Question is why did he forget it? What could have posibly happened to make his memory get wiped clean from his head?

He shook his head silently and got back up. i just need someone skilled to help me remember myself.
