You'll be out of place and underdressed

Hera padded out across the beach, the late afternoon sun keeping her warm. It didn't seem like the winter would be too harsh here, but she could certainly feel the bitter chill in the air all the same. She liked his area when it was in low tide and the soft sands were exposed to the open air. She padded down to the water's edge, the ocean water washing up over her chocolate brown dipped forepaws. She looked out over the horizon ahead of her as her tail flicked behind her. She couldn't quite decide why she was having such a hard time settling down here. She kept wanting to go and explore the lands around Myriad, but she couldn't decide if that was because she was truly interested in the areas around her or if she just wanted somewhere to go and something to do. Sighing, she turned around and slowly made her way back up the beach a bit, her tail swaying side to side in time with her hips as she took her leisurely steps toward one of the trees that dotted the area. After that pack meeting and the hunt they had done she felt like she had done her fair share of "pack" things for the moment. She eased herself down on her stomach under the tree before rolling to her side a bit, letting her hind legs stretch out while she kept the upper half of her body sitting up right so she could look out over the ocean comfortably. She kept herself from thinking about her family and her past for the most part simply to keep those feelings at arms length, but it was awfully hard to do when she was laying here alone. Perhaps she should go find some company of some sort. |
