Lourdes was still very unfamiliar with this land. She had only come across one wolf- and even then she was a skittish dame. It was both nerve-racking and exciting. A new land showed for new chances, new adventurous and life- but was she ready for everything new? She missed her family, her old pack and her old life, but that was a mere memory now, and she had to focus on her present.

This field was filled with flowers and wildlife, it was a shame that she had not a single idea of herbs or their use. She walked forward, small frame weaving through the garden, eyes flicking to and fro to show her alertness. She was small and agile, and she knew if danger came her way she would have some type of chance to run from it.

It almost seemed if this man was a nomad all over again, seeing the same things over and over again were driving him insane. The only thing that was keeping him at bay and wanting him to come back was Maria. He could still think about the tan-colored dame and the land that they both resided in almost as if they had made their own small bad; expect the only members being themselves.

Scents of wildflowers and trees surrounded the brute's nostrils. The smells that surrounded his nostrils and the landscape that he resided in were intoxicating to the brute's nostrils, and he was rather happy about the smells. However, upon realization, he would come across a dame nearby. She appeared to be only a little bit older than the brute, but he would give a gentle smile to show that he meant no harm. If she were to attack him first, all his kindness would slip away and the devil within him would emerge without a moments notice.

His crimson orbs shimmered in the light that surrounded them, but he would turn his cranium to a small pond that surrounded a small portion of the landscape. His eyes would shift across the water, happening to spot a few fish where he was standing. With a quick snap into the water, he happened to catch a small bass and placing it down in front of him as he lied down and placed his paw on the fish, tearing into its flesh and gulping it down rather quickly.

The field wasn't truly to her liking, she was not a herbal girl and all she saw were plants, flowers- nothing in particular that she could name. It was all just nature to her. What did catch her attention, however, was the presence of a male not too far off. He didn't come closer nor did he go farther- but a gentle smile had graced his maw and it caused her gaze to narrow, slightly. He was larger, that much she could tell, but he also held.. odd markings. She stayed put in her spot, watching him as she had no true idea on how to approach him.

He made his way the the pond, and not so much as a moment passing, he had begun to fish. His larger paw swiped into the water, baiting in it before latching and bringing out a fish. She watched as he ate at it hungrily, and Lourdes began to take a few steps forward. "Looks like you skipped breakfast."  She commented jokingly, hoping to lift any tension as she watched him gulp down the fish as if it was his saving grace. "I am Lourdes- who are you?" She tilted her head slightly, body coming to her haunches a few yards from him, doe-brown eyes watching him carefully.

The man had ate half of his fish when the woman had come over to speak with him. Her pelt resembled that of a deer, but he knew she was definitely not a prey animal or someone he should more than likely mess with. His crimson orbs caught a glimpse of her brown eyes, and he would say that she seemed to be rather gentle; however, he knew as well as everyone else around that looks can be deceiving, and he kept his watch firmly on the dame before him.

"Looks like you skipped breakfast." The dame would say, obviously trying to lighten the mood around them. He would not mind it as he himself gave a small chuckle in response, nodding his head in reply to the dame's statement. He would look to the pond before turning his cranium back over to the woman.

"It would seem that way, ma'am," He spoke, his voice still holding that calm and gentleness that he had usually kept with Maria. Though he usually kept to himself, whenever he was spoken to, he would not mind taking some time out of his day to talk with a passing stranger. Though she was older than he, it would seem that the dame was trying to learn the ways in this new environment that she had come across just he himself had. It was then that she would say her name: 'Lourdes'. It was a rather unique name, and and Shadow did like different names. However, he did not want to become too rash with the woman and her priorities, especially since that he had someone on his mind already that he had to get back to before she had a panic attack wondering where he had ran off to.

"It is nice to meet you, Lourdes. As for my name, it is not as unique as your own. My name is Shadow. He spoke, his voice staying calm and monotone as it usually was.
"So, what brings you to these lands if you do not mind me asking. You seem to not be around here, and your scent does not hold any pack scent that I have come across on my travels."

The soft chuckle that came from his lungs had her relived- it showed that he wouldn't get up and lunge at her throat randomly. She took a few more steps forward, but allowed herself to come to a halt, gaze seeing that he had eaten over half the fish already. Soon enough, calm words came from his lungs- and it seemed his words showed manners. Her ears twitched, well, it was nice not being in the presence of a cold brute.

She smiled gently as he complimented her name, gaze staying on his own crimson ones. "Why thank you!" She spoke, letting her haunches come to the ground. "Shadows are unique, though. Each shadow is different for each person and object- therefore your name is unique." She pushed, her tone soft and gentle, far different than his monotone one. Her had shook slightly, but focused onto his next words. "I'm not sure, if I am to be honest. Sometimes my wandering paws get the best of me." Truth rung from her vocals, gaze wavering over him. "And you?" Her head tilted slightly, waiting for his own answer.
