At last, it was time to take them all out of the den together. She'd been busy worrying about her pack and trying to figure out what to do, that now it was time to distract herself from her life as an alpha, even if for a little while. Nearing the den, she spotted Okami sitting outside in the snow with her eyes closed, the others either in the den or nearby no doubt. "Kids, I have a surprise for you all!" Indeed, she had hunted down a mountain goat for them to eat. So instead of her bringing the food to them, she would have them track down the kill. It wasn't too far from here, and Tanaraq was keeping an eye on it so scavengers wouldn't touch it either.

Enlil heard his mama say something about a surprise and immediately he was on his paws. He was sure he stepped on whoever was in the den, muttering a quick apology before rushing out into the sunlight. The little boy tumbled over to his mother, a big grin on his face as he looked up at her. “A surprise mama? What kind of surprise?” He was quick to seek attention from the woman, nuzzling against her leg as his tail wagged happily back and forth. “Will our big brothers come?” He asked softly, his ears perked as he glanced around. He was feeling excited, his body wiggling in place as his golden gaze shifted back to the woman who had birthed him.

Just a little away, Vereux had been playing with Charm. As they had found a rather strange flower that his daughter had been interested in. They ended up chasing each other in a circle, making snow flare up as he finally caught up to his tiny daughter. That was until he heard Avalon's voice. Seems like she'd set up some sort of activities for the young ones. As he smiled he nudged Charm to go towards her mother as he started over as well. Pressing his nose gently into Avalon's shoulder. “I'm curious as well to what this surprise is.” he smirked a bit. Of course he himself could figure it was probably something to do with the scent of a fresh kill filling his nose. However he would keep that a secret, it was important that the young ones learned how to use their scent skills properly. “Vereux” “Avalon”

Charm had been having fun playing with her dad. She had almost forgotten about the flower she had discovered, though as soon as mom showed up her dad nudged her over. As her mom said something about a surprise the runt jumped up happily. Bounding over with her huge paws as she stopped next to Enlil almost running into her brother. "Yayyy a surprise!" she said with her tail wagging back and forth on her body. She didn't know what it was, but she was ready. Her body practically giving out excitement. It was like she was vibrating since she couldn't sit still.

Era was curled up in a ball resting in the den when she heard her mother's voice calling for them, saying something about a surprise. She lifted her head just as one of her brothers went darting out of the den, stepping right on her tail in his haste. She shot him a glare before he tossed a quick apology back at her. She got to her paws and shook out her fur before she hurried to slip out of the den as well. She realized she was standing right behind Enlil since they had come from the same direction and she grinned as she fell down into a messy crouch, scooting along the ground toward him till she was close enough to get a quick chomp in at the end of his tail. She didn't bite hard enough to hurt him really of course, but it made her feel like they were even for him stepping on hers. Now that her revenge of sorts was out of the way she hopped back up onto her paws and came over to stand with her siblings, looking up at her parents curiously.

The albino oddity had been watching quietly, hidden interest in her near pupiless gaze as she listened to her mom approach the den. She herself had been sitting right outside and sunning herself, relaxing outside of the darkness of the den. Her tail wagged a bit when her father approached, and Okami got up to go greet him before her siblings came to steal all the attention away. "You know, don't you daddy?" Of course! They were plotting something together and she just had to know! She reached up to lick his muzzle (or tried to), before dropping back down to the ground. She watched Chimera go for Enlil's tail, and for a brief moment thought about going for it too. But instead, thought better of it and waited to see what this surprise was.

"A special surprise." She chuckled as Enlil came out. "Meant just for you guys." She didn't think her older sons would want to join them anyway, but perhaps later on she'd have something for them all to do. She walked over to Vereux, nuzzling his neck as she laughed at their children's antics. They were so energetic, and she was glad that they were. Her first litter hadn't been so lucky, two of them having gotten sick early on. As she waited for them to calm down, she sat among them and looked each one over. Debating on how to explain what they were to do. "Alright, gather round kids. Today, I have a special task for you." She eyed each one in turn, a smile turning up her lips. "Today, you're going to track down your own prey. Now, I did the hard part, and it's very fresh and waiting for you to find it." She looked at Vereux for a moment, smiling at him. They would both help keep the kids on track, and it would give them a chance to learn how to track down their prey for when they went on their first hunt. "Are you all ready?" "Talk" "You" Think
