Ain't It Fun? [Meeting]
She'd gone on an early morning patrol, and on the way back she headed towards the heart of the pines where the two oldest fallen trees lay resting one on top of the other. Leaping up onto the perch, she tilted her head back and called for the members of Ivalice. Those who did not show would have consequences, but she hoped they would all come. She couldn't keep letting things go the way they were going. It was time to make some changes. "They better come..." She muttered. And if they didn't, well. It wouldn't be pretty.
"Speech"
His gentle lope was enough to bring him from the border to where Avalon was pretty quickly, and glancing around, he affirmed he was the first to arrive - unlike at the festival. Nodding to Avalon in a respectful greeting, he tried to figure out where to sit. Did he sit up with her, since he was in a position of (relative) authority? He spotted a place next to her, that was on a lower branch; she was sitting at the highest point; he could set below her on her left. He did just that, leaping smoothly onto the fallen log, and balancing haphazardously on the limb before plopping his butt roughly down, leaning slightly against the other log that was propped up. It was rather difficult to balance, as big as he was.

Esarosa perked at the sound of Avalon's voice calling to the entire pack. Oh, a meeting? She wondered what the topic of discussion would be, and she hoped there was nothing too terribly serious. Her paws began to carry her in the direction she needed to go, as she wondered who she would see when she arrived. There were still many wolves in Ivalice that she didn't know or recognize, so this would be a good chance for her to get familiar with them, and they with her. She hoped her friends wouldn't be late. She worried about Itri - she hadn't seen him in a long time. Was pack life just too demanding for him? She ought to go looking for him soon, although she knew that if he didn't want to be found, it would be impossible to locate him. As she arrived at the meeting location, she saw Avalon atop the large fallen trees, and not far over, Lykos. She was glad she had at least gotten to know the heir on the hunt; it would probably be a good thing if she got to know all of the higher ranked wolves in Ivalice. Who else would be here? She surprised herself at being somewhat early, as she was usually more nonchalant about important things like these, but she found herself trying to be more responsible lately. So, she seated herself, offering a smile and dip of her head to Avalon, turning and greeting Lykos the same before getting comfortable to wait for the rest to show up. |
When he arrived it was to find his big brother, Lykos, his mama, and one other lady present. The little dark and light ball of fur wiggled over to Esarosa, sitting down by her and beaming up at her with an innocent look. “Hallo~” He barked out, little ears twitching on his head. Were others coming? Was that why mama was waiting before talking to them? He wanted to ask questions, but stopped as he continued to look up at the pretty dark furred lady. If she was being quiet then maybe he should be too!
The stick he'd been chewing on was his priority. His thoughts had been straying lately, towards what to do around the pack. There were new kids now, and suddenly he felt a bit replaced but at the same time....didn't really care. He liked them somewhat, but he was used to being the only one so to speak, and he was sure his brothers felt similar but he wasn't sure. So when his mother called, he thought for a moment about what it might be for. Training? Hunting? Had mentors been assigned yet? Was she still figuring that out? He wanted to learn dammit!
Finally after a few moments, he abandoned his stick and headed towards her. Though he figured he oughta pass by the den and see if his younger siblings were still there or if they were already with mom. Of course, when he arrived, he found Okami outside and Enlil's trail heading towards where his mom was...by himself? Where the fuck was Vereux? Without fully stopping, he slowed to a trot as he passed by. "Come on guys. Mom's calling."
He kept a pace so that at least Okami could follow considering her sight problem. And when he arrived at the meeting, only a couple others had arrived. His brother sat up front with his mother which...He wasn't sure what to make of it, but whatever floated their boat. Meanwhile, he went to sit near the front, green eyes questioning towards his mom. "When are we gonna start training?" Okay, he was pretty impatient about it. He wanted to learn how to fight and stuff, he didn't care about herbs or anything like that. Fighting and maaaybe political crap, but he'd honestly rather use his muscles.
