I'm A Little Dysfunctional

ooc: Set before the pack challenge for Myriad She had set out earlier that day to collect some herbs to stock up the stores in her den. With summer in full swing she didn't expect anyone to really get sick, but there were other things she wanted to grab. She was worried that with it being so hot that the plants would wilt and once they did that it meant they didn't dry properly and became utterly useless. She didn't foresee the winter going very well if everything did that so she was going to do her best to find what she could. She'd planned it to be a two day trip, but as the day grew hotter with the rising sun she was already beginning to feel warn out. The going was slow for the blind healer and considering this was unknown territory she spent most of her energy making sure she didn't run into trees and step in holes or trip over her own feet. By the time she'd reached the orchard she was tired and hot. Even her light silver coat wasn't enough to save her from the suns heat. As she passed under the shade of the fruit trees she'd feel some temporary relief, but in the end it wasn't enough. She could smell growing fruit on the trees but she didn't smell any rotting fallen ones and she already knew their season wasn't until autumn so she ignored them and continued on her way. Occasionally the wind would shift and she'd pick up on the odd scent of loner. None of them seemed nearby though so the woman didn't fret over it. Instead she'd continue until her companion practically yelled at her. "Stop!" The cat hissed. Armai would stop in her tracks and tentatively stick a paw out. Her foot hit something wooden, strangely like a tree but not, and Armai pressed a nose to it. She didn't know what it was, but upon following it all the way around with her side pressed to it she realized it was almost like a den but not a den. She'd never heard of humans or buildings so none of it made sense, but she found the entrance easily enough. Once inside she felt shade once more, better than what the trees offered, so she circled around a few times before lying down in a corner to rest her legs. Nox happily curled up not far from her and Armai lay her head on her paws and closer her eyes to nap. Walk, "Talk" Think "Nox" |
Armai has a female snow leopard companion that goes by the name of Nox. It can be assumed that she is always with Armai unless otherwise stated.
