Their Smiles, Their Smiles of Plated Gold
He hadn't really been out this way, but today he would. Normally he stayed sulking in his own secret hole near the den, hidden away beneath the fallen branches and foliage of an old pine. But it was only a matter of time before one of his siblings might find it, so he had to find something else just in case. The dual toned boy walked along the borders, the warning from his alpha echoed in his head, but would it matter? He'd been studying the borders, and the time in between patrols was quite the long gap. Besides, with the snow melt and mud, he'd be able to hide his scent easy. He was too smart for all these dumb adults, and a couple more seasons he'd be a year old. "And rules were made to be broken." He murmured. He would step across the borders, not too far, but enough where on the off chance someone did pass by, they wouldn't see him right away.
But A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing Is More Than A Warning!

Kharnage was still debating leaving again. His paws itched to go on another adventure. A part of him wanted to find Regulus for another fighting lesson, but that was a long way away. Would Avalon be upset with him if he was gone that long? Probably. He had "duties" to attend to and a whole lot of nothing to accomplish. He hadn't heard jack shit from his mentor yet and it was starting to irk him. He didn't want to wait around to learn things like he had all his life. He was almost two come the next season and he'd be an adult. How was he supposed to be an adult when he didn't even know how to properly fight? So he stalked off to the borders. If he couldn't go see Regulus then he was going to do something else. He wasn't sure what it was but it sure as hell wasn't going to be a border patrol. If someone was stupid enough to waltz into pack lands then that was their problem and someone else could deal with it. For him he padded along it and didn't pick up on the scent of the pup at all. He came to a halt and sat not too far past the border and stared out past the pines as he debated his next moves, not even aware of the kid nearby. Walk, "Talk" Think |
