It had been some time since he had been outside of Abaven, though he supposed he was doing it for a reason. He wanted to get out and stretch his legs as well as explore the lands he lived in. He had kept the same rank for so long, he didn't want to stay stuck in it. Though whether or not there was still need for his line of work was beyond him, but if it didn't work out, perhaps he'd find something else to pursue.
The male slipped into the waters, his destination being the island furthest from his side of the shore. He knew it would take a while to get there, but he had plenty of exploring to do on the way. Small paws kicked easily through the water, the sun was rising steadily in the sky and reflecting off the waters gentle surface. It took him several long minutes, but at last he felt the mud beneath him. He quickly made his way to the dry shore, shaking his pelt out before stopping to look around. He saw several birds with long legs walking along the shore, though they didn't seem to care about his presence thay much.
Flipping the excess water off his tail, he would trot along the shores, making his way to the other side.
It wasn't often that the huge bird took a trip to the islands. She usually stayed in the mainlands - however she wanted to become familiar with everything. If her dream was to come true, she needed to recruit and make friends. Not only that, but look for a nice place to live for a large amount of different animals. Something Boreas had never seen! Flamie cawed in a bit of excitement in the air as she arrived at the island. Ibis looking her way confused as the bird landed on a branch to rest her wings for a moment. That was when she noticed a fox. Though not just any fox! This was a friend or pack mate of Bass'. They could explore together.
Flamie spread her wings and would fly closer to the fox. Landing a fair distance away from the small canine as she smiled towards him. "Hello there Abaven fairing fox!" she greeted happily. Hoping that he was friendly, after all Bass had been friendly. Offered her bones in exchange for herbs which was nice. "Are you here to explore the island as well?"
