It's getting to be late when Selene finds the Moor. Everything is damp, covered in the dew of the evening, shimmering and sparkling beneath the light of a full moon. The breath in her lungs is suspended momentarily, and she's mesmerized. It's gorgeous. Mist hovers around her shoulders, around everything her height. It sticks and clings, and she's ever so alive with it. Everything is gorgeous, everything is bright and beautiful. She's bright and beautiful. Fireflies playing in the low light, and Selene dashes through them.

Her tail wags. It's as she looks up to the sky that she's truly in awe. She barks, barks at the stars where she sees them. Searching. The stars are insane. They're beautiful, and Selene adores them. So many stars, and she finds herself searching for the ones she recognizes. The ones she knows and loves, the constellations that light up her absolute world. Constellations. She knows some of them, enough of them, and the stories that match. She wanted to learn. There was more to learn, more to see. Right.

Kieryn Adravendi

She was being rather naughty.

The thought rang in her mind as she crept away from Celestial. Regulus probably wouldn't have liked her going off alone, but she wasn't going far. The idea that she was leaving still bugged her, but she'd suddenly grown an itch to go explore something outside of their territory. She didn't enjoy the idea of being in trouble, but wanderlust and curiosity set in and in the end she crossed over the borders of Celestial.

She constantly found herself having to remind her brain that she was nearly a year come autumn. She wouldn't be an adult, but she'd be old enough to be an apprentice and travel where she wanted. So a month wasn't too far off from being a year so she wouldn't get in trouble? Right? Well it was what she kept telling herself so she was going to stick to that belief.

Wetness clung to her tiny paws and the sun had already begun to set. Stars started replacing the sky and glacial eyes stared up at them in awe. She hadn't realized that there were other areas that could be just as beautiful as her home. Her attention wouldn't remain on them for long. The scent of a wolf caught her attention and she followed it eagerly with her nose to the ground. She didn't have to travel far to find it and to her surprise it was a woman not much bigger than she was. Granted she was still a pup, but this woman was clearly older. Would she stay that tiny forever?

"Hello?" She called out, half timidly, yet half curiously.

Walk ---- "Speak" ---- "Hear" ---- Think

The scorn of the moon sees the child a little ways off, head canting softly to the side. Why was there a child out so late at night? Who was supposed to be watching her? Not that it mattered. Not that it was something that she had to concern herself with. It never was. She's too wild to think of babysitting, but she could roll one on one with the midget child for a bit. Hell, that would even be fun. Let the stars come down and kiss them both on their furry little heads. Those were the best nights of all.

"Whattup, shrimp?" She grins. Selene grins, pleased with herself, tail thumping easily behind her. What a lovely evening it was for company, and she trollops happily to the pup, movements quick and immensely graceful. Seeming to not touch the ground as she moves, the girl flies past the smaller creature. "Dance with me?" It's an offer, and she waits for a moment before pulling into a steep play bow.

The stars above their heads were glimmering, millions of fairy lights shining down, and Selene looks as if she's been forged from them and them alone. How lovely it is to be alive.
