Her travels were going north, and up towards the mainland. Steady progress she would call it, barely having to stop for anything besides to rest, eat and relieve herself. On this day however she would decide to take some time off from the schedule to investigate this land bridge that would be allowing her passage.

Aeru stood on the edge of the bridge, toes hanging over and wiggling freely in the light breeze. With the head outstretched over the water she would close her eyes and listen, taking in a deep breath of the clear open air, then slowly exhaling. Small waves crashed against the rocks along the bridge, soothing almost. And somewhere could be heard birds squacking at each other, the beating of wings.

After that fun little run in with the pale woman with the purple eyes, Ira decided it was high time she make a little more of an effort to explore this place she had wound up in. She headed further south and she realized she was at the shore of this continent as she stared out at the open ocean ahead of her. She hummed quietly to herself as she walked, her paws padding along unevenly to the beat of the made up song she was singing to herself. She noticed what looked like a bridge, but it was all made of land. She stood at the start of it for a moment, peaking over the edge at the water that washed up against the land bridge with the wind that pushed the waves forward. She gave a shrug of her shoulders and grinned. "Why the hell not?" she asked to herself even though no one was around to hear it. She chuckled softly and then kept on going to pad down this weird natural bridge. It took a little while for her to see anything else of interest at the end of this bridge, but then she spotted the shore of the land that this bridge was connected to become more clear and a little while later she spotted another wolf walking toward the opposite edge of the bridge. Curious, she walked toward her a bit more quickly, but she slowed back down so that her paw steps would be more quiet when she saw that the girl's eyes were closed. A wicked grin stretched over Ira's muzzle as she creeped forward toward the girl like she was stalking prey. When she got closer she jumped forward and yelled, "Boo!" before dissolving into giggles.
