The blue-hued pup sniffed as he shuffled through the light layer of snow that was mixed with all the leaves that were drifting down from the huuuuuuuuge trees around him. The trees were wider than his daddy was long, maybe even longer than his momma and daddy combined. He fell back on his haunches as he slowly looked up toward the top of the trees and couldn't stay on his paws with how far his head was tipped back. His stomach rumbled again and he looked down at his stomach with a whine. He looked around him sadly and his ears flattened against his skull. He was so hungryyyyyy. And it was cold. He whined again and got back on his paws so he could keep moving. He knew his mom and dad would bring him food and he knew they had hunted it, but he didn't know how. How did he catch food? What did food even look like before it came from his mom and dad? He climbed up on a root that had lifted up from the ground so he could get his paws out of the snow for a bit, his body trembling slightly as he shivered against the cold. "Talk"

Sora hadn’t met another wolf for weeks she had been wandering the land of Boreas with Alisa for her only company. She had left Alisa behind for now so the little fennec was off doing whatever little fennecs did for the time being probably digging a hole or something. Sora came upon a forest of tall red-ish trees, she hadn’t been there long when she noticed something peculiar there was a pup. Not only was it a pup without any parents around but it was a blue pup. The smell seemed to tell her that the parents hadn’t been around for a while and the pup looked to be in a bad spot, it seemed that if the pup was left there for a good while longer there wouldn’t be much of a pup left. She felt a twinge of guilt, the same she had felt when she found Alisa. Having once been in the same position before, left alone and clueless she could sympathize with them. She didn’t want anybody else ending up like her if she could help it, if she could have her way nobody would be left without a family. She would gently make her way up to the pup “Hello, what’s your name? I’m Sora, Where are your parents?” She would ask it would be better to ask rather than solely trust her nose about the pups parental situation.

Neptune heard someone walking toward him and he looked over to see a lady with blue eyes walking over to him. He didn't really understand what it meant to be scared of strangers yet so he was just happy to see someone else out here. He hadn't seen anyone since he left the den. "I'm Nep-une," he told her, frowning and scrunching his nose up a little at his own words. No, that wasn't right. "Nep...tune. Neptune!" he corrected himself, struggling over the T in his name. He gave her a smile when he finally got it right, his thin tail wagging behind him. "I dunno where they are..." he answered with a frown. Before he could say any more, his stomach growled loudly again and his ears flicked back against his head. "Um... Miss So-a... Sora. Coud you hep me find food? Pwease?" he asked, looking up at her hopefully. He hopped down from the tree root he had been standing on, standing in front of her and tipping his head back more so he could look up at her again. "Talk"

Sora smiled a bit at the pup’s small failures at saying his name. she was a bit surprised that he was this happy in the situation he was in. He said that he didn’t know where his parents were and asked her to help him find food. She almost wanted to look at him with sadness in her eyes, poor kid he probably wouldn’t see his parents again or at least for a long while. “sure I can help you get some food.” The pup probably hadn’t been taught how to hunt yet, just then a squirrel skittered past them and Sora lunged for it sinking her teeth through it’s neck. She skinned the animal and left it in front of the pup. “There, you know I could help you find your parents or at least let you stay with me until you can hunt for yourself.”

Neptune gave the nice lady a huge smile when she agreed to help him get some food. He was about to tell her thank you and ask how she was gonna get the foods but then suddenly a squirrel ran out of the tree he had just been standing by and she snapped it up like it was nothing at all! He watched her with big, wide eyes, his little mouth falling open. She dropped it in front of him without the skin on it and he exclaimed, "Wow!" his voice hushed with wonder. "'hat wa so cool!" He turned his attention back down to the squirrel and eyed it for a moment. He had seen his daddy bring back squirrels like this before, but his momma usually pulled off little pieces for him. Only whenever she wouldn't let him have milk instead. But he didn't wanna be rude! He tried to do what his momma did and grabbed a little of the squirrel's meat between his teeth and pulled, but it didn't come off as easy as he thought it would! He pulled and tugged till finally a bite came off! His tail wagged so hard it was a blur while he started chewing on the bite of food. She said something about helping him find his parents or letting him stay with her and he looked up at her hopefully. "Okay!" he agreed easily, smiling up at her. "I dunno where my paren's wen'. They left and 'hey didn' come back so I dunno where they went!" He frowned a little and his forehead creased with little thinking furrows between his eyes. After a few moments though his expression smoothed out and he just smiled up at her again. "Maybe I'll just stay with you, okay? You're nice!" He reached forward and tugged off another bite of food, chewing on it for a while before he took another. He was so hungry! "Talk"
