The Girl Who Could Fly

She was working on eventually making her way back home. She'd been gone for a few days, but she was insistent on scouting around a bit. On the way to the Rio Grande she'd come across a scent of a fairly new pack that had established itself where Imperium used to be. The border scents had already begun to fade though and a frown creased her muzzle. If it was new why had it fallen so quickly? Had the old Imperium wolves driven them off or had something else happened? Feeling confident in going past the old borders (because who was going to stop her) she strolled through the territory at a lazy gait. It was just as warm here as it felt in Celestial, though the south certainly lacked the same dry desert lands that surrounded her pack's territory. She could see why the range and the Rio had the popularity that they did. She could smell the orchard from here and with the river right next to it it gave any prospective pack a great water source. She could only assume the prey here was just as bountiful. She traveled for a little while longer before she paused at a strange formation of stones. She'd never heard of humans before so little did she know that it used to be an old farm house. Now it was just crumbled rubble. She'd hop up onto the foundation and put her nose to it to sniff around. This place was so strange and the west certainly lacked such strange and curious things. In fact the only time she could think that she'd seen anything like this was when she'd found Adrian in the giant metal thing. Strange. Were they related at all or was it just coincidence? She couldn't tell. Walk, "Talk" Think |
