a peaceful day

It was quiet in their lands, but not because no one was there. It was just quiet because that was the nature of the place, she discovered. Sometimes calls rang out, but there were none that she found herself having to listen to save for the occasional one for a hunt or a meeting. Only one of those had happened thus far though, and she'd answered even though it hadn't really been required of her. All the better to get involved, she thought.
Today, though, she was tired from all the social interaction and the strenuousness of a hunt, and so she perched herself on a fallen tree and resolved not to move until she felt somewhat less tired. She'd gotten a good night's sleep the night before, but it was more of a bodily exhaustion than anything else. Not to mention a mental one too coming from all the talking she'd had to do, which really hadn't been much but still. It was exhausting, being part of a crowd like that. She'd just have to get used to it, given that she planned on living in a pack for the rest of her life.
Faelyn rested her head on her paws, enjoying the scenery around her, taking it in silently. She did so enjoy their little pack and everything that came with it.
