At last, they were here. It had been a long journey, but one they had made before winter had fully set in Boreas. Here in the southern continent, however, the seasons seemed to be the opposite. It felt like summer here, though not as hot as it was back on the other side. As they crossed the Starlit Plains (which they weren't fortunate enough to cross at night to see all of its beauty), they did spot several herds of fat prey animals. Something they hadn't really seen since the droughts had started, followed by the lack of food for them. He hoped this was the right move, though logically it seemed like it was. But would the rest of the pack agree? Or would they doubt him right off the bat without giving him a real chance? He supposed only time would tell, and he would truly see who was loyal and who merely talked the game to get on his family's good graces. Quite honestly, he didn't like that...while his mother may have been all too quick to trust, he was quite skeptical about where some of the members true loyalty lied.

For now though, he would have to just wait and see. Lifting his head, he sent out a howl to let anyone nearby that these lands were now his.

They had made the journey, and for that Ganta was glad. Auster was certainly more welcoming than Boreas had been in the North… though the brute couldn’t help but feel a bit saddened that they had left the place. Perhaps it was because he thought of his mothers and brothers as they left. Ganta wasn’t sure. What he did know was that this change, whether good or bad, was going to define how all of them existed in the new version of the pack; Talis.

Hearing the call of the new alpha, Avalon’s son, Ganta decided to go speak with him. Dragon was letting everyone know that the land around here was claimed now… and Ganta found fascination with it. It was unlike any land he’d ever seen before… and the structure was quite odd. It reminded him a bit of the S.S. Antiox… and he wondered what it might be like to explore it. Perhaps, he thought, he’d be able to do that soon. Maybe even with Dragon if the other was of the mind for some company?

Silvery-white orbs fell upon the other youth as Ganta made his way towards him. With a smile and friendly flick of his tail he gave a soft bark, trying to catch Dragon’s attention. “Congratulations on the pack shifting to you, Dragon.” The brute said in a soft tone, dipping his head to the other.

Gryphon had been ranging out around the pack, acting as a scout for any danger and watching obsessively for anyone who looked a little too interested in where the big group was going, the whole way down through Boreas and Auster. Here, though, it seemed was where Dragon planned to put down their roots once more so their journey was at an end. The ranger squinted up at the stone structure that hulked over them. It wasn't the first time he'd seen a human structure - he'd grown up near the Range with it's barn, and later hunted seals the Antiox - but the idea of actually living in one made his pelt crawl uneasily. Not that he'd say anything about it, unless something about it proved to be actually dangerous instead of just creepy. After all, it was a good solid shelter for anyone that chose to den there, and there were probably a ton of rodents to catch and eat - though they would have to take extra care with young pups, who were vulnerable to rats.

Gryphon ghosted up to Dragon's side as his call echoed around them, and sent a quick sidelong glance at the odd wolf who had already joined him. What was wrong with the fur on his head? "So this is home, then?" he asked his brother neutrally, cocking his head toward the castle. His brother's call had made it obvious enough that they were claiming this land, but it wouldn't hurt to double check that he meant the castle to be included in that.
