Is this Goodbye?

It had been too long since he’d last spoken with Amachi and, thinking on it, he’d decided to speak with her before he left Talis. Ganta was glad for the summer weather here in Auster… it was something he’d miss by going back to Boreas. But he looked forward to picking up Roza, growing closer to her as he started to build his pack. He was hoping that Amachi would still want to come too, though he wouldn’t force the older woman to. What she ended up choosing to do was up to her.

The brute paused just outside of Talis borders, raising his maw to the sky and letting loose a howl for the uniquely marked woman. Would she come, he wondered? The brute slowly lowered his body to the earth, ears perking as he waited. He’d give Amachi a bit of time and… if she didn’t show… well… it would be time to go. There was a small ache in his heart at the thought that she wouldn’t show up though. She was willing to risk so much to help his pack… even betraying Talis… but was that a good thing?

He shook his head. No… he couldn’t think like that. He had to be positive…
