Summer rain. Summer rain was her favorite thing. Fortune is soaked to the skin and still running, moving through it. All is well, and she's happy. Well and good and happy. Bright eyes. So bright, but so alone. She always has home to return to, but she's tracked outside of their lands. Outside. Outside was something she could do better than inside. She's not really all that upset.

Head high, eyes bright. There's something that cannot be touched about the way she handles herself. A hunter. A hunter who's doing nothing more than searching. Seeking the great perhaps. Looking for something more than what she has. Someone to interact with. Someone to appear with. Someone to pass the time with in the rain. Fortune was so immensely happy in the rain.

What a gorgeous day. Wet. Soaking wet and happy. Fortune would not let the happiness radiate as a child would, but there is something intense in her chest.

if heaven waits we'll breach the gates on her wings we'll be one

Horsetail, horsetail, horsetail…. Lydia padded along the moor, following the water lines as she sought out fronds of horsetail to add to her growing herb stores. Her sapphire eyes alert and searching, a hunter of a different variety, at least for now. Across her back a cured rabbit pelt was draped, a temporary storage for the various herbs she would find and gather and empty for now but she was only just beginning her hunting in the west.

As she maneuvered along though it began to rain and Lydia sighed heavily. Oh drat! Her rabbit skin was going to get soaked. Scrambling farther inland she found a good hollow spot in a tree and snatched the skin in there. She could grab it later when she actually had herbs that needed to be brought home but for now… Lydia went back into the rain. She didn't mind it much and she was too focused on the task at hand to bother griping about it but as she was moving she noticed a pale woman nearby and she immediately froze, unsure of what to do and even more unsure if she should draw attention to herself. The other woman seemed happy and pleasant enough but who could really tell these days?
