As You're Falling Down
Pyrr was, surprisingly, in a fine mood as she padded along. Her head was held high, her gaze blazing with that brilliant fire within. Pyrr was happy… happy that she had decided to settle down here in Abaven. The pack, though not the most active, was a welcome community. She liked Bass and those she’d met thus far. She wanted to get to know them better too. There was a particular interest in the femme for getting to know the healers. After all… after her spars she was going to need someone to patch her up!
It would be an understatement to say that she felt alone. Renhett was surrounded by wolves, all types and yet she still felt an unneeded amount of loneliness. Her tail flicking from side to side irritably, she was growing older and after the incident with Kai she found herself missing the notion of family. She missed her brothers and her sister - she missed her father most of all. Renhett felt like she wasn't doing enough for Bass and truthfully she hadn't been the most active around the pack either. She growled as she walked to herself - until she stopped her ears perking when she noticed the red beast in front of her. The lady, Pyyr, that Renhett had treated all those days back. It was good to see the behemoth had recovered. A smile crept on her face then as she trotted forward.
"Seems like those wounds have healed up pretty well Pyyr, I hope everything else is okay as well." Renhett spoke in a friendly tone with her tail wagging back and forth. For some reason her heart felt like it was pounding against her chest. No matter - perhaps it was the notion of family she had been thinking of earlier. As if she was having some sort of mid life crisis. Something she really didn't need to speak about less someone actually asked. For once she was reluctant to share those feelings. |
“I’ve been hoping to run into one of the healers of Abaven actually. You wouldn’t happen to need a paw in gathering up a fresh stock of herbs now that summer has hit, would you?” There was a genuine smile on her face, a kind one, as the behemoth shifted upon her paws. “Or perhaps you’d at least like some sort of company?” Making friends wasn’t the easiest thing for Pyrr at times, but she was trying. Her normal way of making allies was through spars… but with a healer that wasn’t an option.
A smirk appeared on the girls face. Well she was only a bit tenacious if anything. Her paws wiggled a bit, to be honest they were just fine on supplies. There were many herbs within the pack to collect not to mention the amount of healers made it a bit easier on the pack. They were luck if she had to tell anyone. After all if a wolf got sick, they could all work together to heal them. Or even injuries when a fight aroused. "There's plenty of herbs in the stores at the moment." She added gladly with a soft coo.
"What about a spar? It's been a while since I've practiced my fighting skills. I may be a healer but self defense is important too." Renhett offered as she jumped to her paws. Something about fighting with the behemoth sent her into a dizzy. She tried to contain her childish excitement at least a bit. Her tail stiffly wagging side to side. |
