It had been quite a while, but here she was again. She hadn't had a spar since that last one with Mercy on her old pack lands, but now her shoulder was healed and that was...almost a year ago. Damn...time had really flown, hadn't it? Shaking out her muscles, fur rippling in the warm summer breeze, she lumbered across the battlefield with head held high, confident and ready. Tanaraq soared above, occasionally casting her shadow across the sun as she kept an eye out. Another summer meant she was another year older. She was eight years old now, well past her younger years that had unfortunately, been wasted on bullshit...but she was still here. Still going strong. And she was learning to let go of all the crap that plagued her. She was having an easy life within Talis, and it was weird for her...she was retired as an alpha, and it was odd not having the responsibilities that she once had. She was getting bored with nothing to do, so here she was. Looking for a fight to keep herself from getting rusty, and to keep her mobility and fighting spirit going. She aimed to live as long as she could, after all. She wasn't ready to go down without a fight, at least...as long as she could move and walk and run and fight, then she was going to do all those things and more. She stopped in a good sized clearing, tossing her head back in a howl to summon any potential opponents. Would it just be one? Or maybe several? While she had never been in a melee fight before, it would be an interesting experience for sure.

He was hurting though he would not reveal that to Roza. Enigma had gotten to him and had the brute wondering if Roza knew the truth if she'd leave him and return back to Fiori. The brute let out a soft sigh, gaze shimmering with frustration. He had to become stronger so he could protect her without fail. Something in his gut had him feeling queasy.... But still he pressed on with the hopes that Roza was somewhere close.

A howl, a familiar one at that, caught Ganta's attention and he scampered forward. Sure enough Avalon was there. He smiled as he approached and called out; care for a friendly spar ma'am?" His tone might not have betrayed his stress but the look in his eyes surely did. Hopefully a spar could relieve some of it.

I'm here without you...

ooc: Idk how serious you were about a melee spar in the cbox but I'm fine with Vinny just spectating to lemme know!

Tonight the hills are watching her...

Vincenzo's life had grown as silent as a rotting corpse. Vyper had fallen, there was no sign of Basileus or Enrico, even the women he'd met whose company he'd been able to take pleasure in had fallen away. Silent. Dead. He had no idea what to do with himself any more and part of him wondered if he shouldn't just simply return home and face his own execution. What was the difference anyway between a corpse that was breathing and one that was not?

He found himself on the battlefield. If anything could rekindle his fire this was it. He'd been a fighter, battling for his life and others entertainment when Enrico had found him. Perhaps fortune would again turn her sight to him. As he maneuvered through the field he heard a call go out and swiftly moved to follow it. He arrived to see a large older woman and a strange looking man who asked if she was looking for a spar. Bah! He was to late but he approached the pair with a smile. "Hello, you both fight, yes? What if we do three. We three fight each other. Or I can wait and watch. I am late so I know." English was coming to him better each day but there were still stops and starts and a grasping of words. A desperate attempt to snatch them up before they tumbled haphazardly from his lips.
