And we was both jumping up and down yelling "KILL, KILL"

Merlin grinned widely, his whole back end wagging in his enthusiasm. Someone new to train with! Well, she wasn't NEW-new, he knew. Asha'd been part of the pack for a while. But he'd never trained with her, and the novelty of it had the hyperactive male literally wiggling with delight. He wondered what she'd have in mind to do. Training? Sparring? Whatever it was, he was sure it would be fun. Except a lecture. Lectures were boring. Lectures meant holding still and listening, something Merlin did not excel in.
He was quick to prance over to the dark-colored female, tongue lolling out the side of his mouth and still trailing mud. The other wolves who'd showed up were already pairing off and moving away, so they had to get moving and catch up! He pounced in a circle around her. "Ok ok so what's our plan? What're we doing?"

Asha still had yet to familiarize herself with everyone in the pack - other than a select few, most were strangers that she'd glimpsed from time to time. She wasn't anti-social in the least though so she didn't mind the idea of being paired with someone she hadn't talked to yet and she wasn't disappointed when Bass paired her with Merlin. Her eyes scanned the area around her just as the young man bounded over to her with mud still clinging to his fur. Had he not been taller than her she would have assumed he was a yearling if she hadn't known better. Something about him definitely screamed that he was very childish which was okay by her. Hopefully he'd be as fun as he looked! "I um..." Well crap. Plan weren't exactly what she was best at. She hadn't sparred in what felt like ages and lecturing the poor boy sounded boring for the both of them. "Lets make a game out of it." Not that she knew how to train anybody - but she did want to make this enjoyable for the both of them and try and teach him something. "Lets say... hmm, find a way to knock me over while we spar and you win." She grinned mischievously. He'd have to catch her first, but getting him to think about how to bowl her over would be educational, right? She would have preferred following him back to whatever pit of mud he'd crawled out of, but she didn't want to upset Bass - after all this was training. Walk, "Talk" Think |
