You've got me shaking by the way you're talking

He awoke from another dreamless night, the image of blood on his jaws in his waking mind lingering. The beast didn't know where he was but it mattered not to his simple mind. Shiloh was simply amazed that he had lived another day. His blonde paws were still stained a bit pink from the last he saw of his captors. Those "testers", each and every one had begged for their lives but did they not understand how they had made him. His lavender pupils dilated, they made him seek out blood and taste it. As such killing and taking wolves lives was child's play. In fact, he remembered the seasons passed - that small black and white male that he had sunk his teeth into. That had been his first steps into here. He hadn't even noticed the boy reeking of pack scent. Regardless the beast rose from his slumber looking at the indent in the grass that he had created.

The sun had just begun to rise - the internal clock of the man was all natural. He rose and fell with that yellow thing in the sky, reflecting his day to day activities. Hunt, drink, sleep, hunt, drink, sleep. On occasion, he would run into a plaything, though thus far nothing had held his interest. Nothing had seemed "worth" keeping alive. As he was also sure he wasn't worth the effort so he fought for his life on a day to day basis. Ready with teeth in arms - and he was an unstoppable machine.

Shiloh began his walk towards nowhere. Paws pressing into the ground as he kept his head high - thick fur covering over him as fluffy as it was. His thoughts pressed him to find a place to settle, perhaps a snack would be nearby but he was growing far too bored for his own good. The testers had at least kept him entertained. Bringing him slaves to toy around with. Well - the males were the best. He wouldn't bother keeping the women alive. He had no need to reproduce, this was not among his drive. As such a smile spread across his face day dreaming of the bloody day ahead.

He crawled out of the den-of-the-day as soon as the sun rose before his sisters or father woke up. He was glad that they weren't in the north any more, at least not for the time being, but he was so bored it hurt. His father kept talking about taking them to a pack so they wouldn't have to travel around all the time, but Pyre didn't understand why his father was so fixated on living in a pack. Why couldn't they just pick a spot and live there? Pyre padded off with a huff. He was nearly a year old now. Maybe he could just go live on his own and he wouldn't have to worry about it. He wasn't really paying attention to where he was going while he was walking around musing on what he could be doing. The only reason he noticed the other man was purely because of the fact that the tan and brown man crossed in front of his path. Pyre stopped and blinked as he was broken out of his thoughts and came back to reality. The man was a little taller and a good bit bulkier than he was, but he was still growing, right? "Oh, hey," he said in greeting to the stranger. He wasn't sure if the other guy would care to talk to him or not or if it would just be a passing greeting. Not that he particularly cared either way. Speech Thought Others

The beast had been approached, so his head turned to see what had come before him. It was nothing but a child - thing and lengthy but nearly matched his own height. Shiloh's lavender eyes though sparkled with interest. What a curious creature this was indeed, the fires of hell seemed to have erupted from his coat. Urges poured up from Shiloh and a grin spread widely on the monsters face. He didn't plan on doing anything bad yet at least. So he did suppose it was best to see what the young thing was doing here without... parents? That's what they were birthed from correct. After all, Shiloh had many wolves call them his parents. In the end, he had torn them all down.

"You, mine now." his primitive speech hit the air and he wouldn't offer a choice. He kept himself tall as he watched the movements of the child. He would raise his tail and his lip twitched. This child was now his and he would dispose of him when he felt it was time - for now though the creature was so young and so.... interesting. Shiloh was excited just as he was to see if anything interesting could be brought if one of these things "testers" came around. That would satisfy Shiloh's need for some blood if the boy didn't agree it was too bad Shiloh's goal was to make sure this world was under his paw. Everyone either dead or under his control.

"Shiloh." "You." Think.

He hadn't interacted with a lot of wolves outside of his father and sisters, but he knew enough to know that "You, mind now," was not a normal response to someone after you said hello to them. Pyre looked at the man with confusion, even giving a quick glance over his shoulder to make sure there wasn't someone or something else behind him that the purple eyed man could be talking to. "What's that supposed to mean?" he asked as he eyed the stranger warily. Pyre had very little exposure to the world so he had no way of knowing just how devious this man's plans were or could be. He took a step back toward the way he came while keeping a watchful eye on the larger wolf. While he wasn't completely aware of the darkness of the world, he had enough sense to he uncertain and concerned. Something about the look in this man's eye felt off and dangerous. If he turned and ran back to the den would he be able to get away? He was smaller so maybe he'd be faster, right? That's how it worked with chasing rabbits versus chasing deer anyway. Speech Thought Others

Children, they seemed to be dumber than the adults from what he gathered. Shiloh's eyes rolled - though the fiery beast had every right to be wary of the beast. His tail cocked off to the side, anger boiling when he saw that the boy was trying to inch away from him. Shiloh stood tall and proud, raising an eye to the younger one. "You travel with Shiloh." he immidiately explained. "No protest, just stay by me." his hungry eyes made sure to watch the boy's every move.

Shiloh didn't do too well with runners, after all his teeth were sharp and eager. He needed to really control his urges if he was going to survive out here. His tail wiggled behind him excitedly - to have this one a part of his collection would be a dream. He smiled, the world would be his one day or he would die trying that was for sure. His toes spread and eagerly awaited what Pyre had to say to him.

"Shiloh." "You." Think.

Pyre froze in place when he saw the anger in this man's face at the slight movement had had made. Pyre brought his paws back together at their former position reluctantly. This man's stance left him no room to question or protest. That purple gaze felt like it was keeping him pinned in place. Okay... Shiloh," he replied, picking up the name from the man's own third-person speech. He couldn't figure out how a man could be so intimidating, but part of him wanted to know how. "Where are we going?" he asked without taking his eyes off him. Shiloh was watching his every move, but Pyre was doing the same thing. He didn't trust him, but now he felt stuck with him. For all he knew he could just turn and run as fast as he could back to his father and get away just fine, but he didn't really wanna risk it. Speech Thought Others

Did this child underestimate him? Just not understanding, his paws shifted slightly in his thoughts. Looking around for a single moment. "You follow forever, you run you die."he said, lavender eyes looking devilishly at Pyre. The boy would come to know either protection or pain. His tail flicked vigerously as he started to walk on. Wondering if the other would catch on and Shiloh woud have a bit of entertainment or otherwise.

"Shiloh seeks the destruction of world. Chosing a few souls to spare." he grinned. It sent adrenaline through his veins. This was what he'd be dying for - after all he would continue until someone stopped him. He'd already killed his handlers and it was easy enough for him to have become addicted to the blood. They had created something other than whay they had intended.

"Shiloh." "You." Think.

Forever seemed like an awfully long time. Following this crazy guy forever certainly wasn't his first choice, but did he really have a choice right now? It wasn't like he could really take him in a fight. His dad hadn't really taught him all that much about fighting. That thought brought his father and sisters back up in his mind and that just added another whole complex layer to this situation. He hurried to follow along right beside Shiloh when the man started to walk away. He got the feeling that if he hadn't it would have ended badly for him. "Shiloh seeks the destruction of world. Choosing a few souls to spare." Well, Pyre certainly hoped he was one of those souls. Who was this man that he really thought he could destroy the whole world? There didn't even seem to be a hint of uncertainty anywhere on this man's form. It was so different from how his father acted. His dad was always so worried and upset all the time. He still loved his father, but he didn't like how Solaris acted all the time. He wasn't sure he liked Shiloh's plans either, but he had to admit that he liked his confidence if nothing else. "My dad will come looking for me," he commented idly, not realizing what that information might do. Speech Thought Others

He let his thoughts gather. As the young boy expressed that his father would come looking for him. Shiloh couldn't help but to grin a bit, letting a soft chuckle escape his body. "You wish Shiloh to spare your father too?" Shiloh asked as his lavender gaze fell on the red yearling. His paws spread into the dirt, after all perhaps he could teach these slaves... to do something for him. Create perhaps an army, then it made his taske far more believeable than his original miserable existance.


"If he comes, I shall claim. You, stay forever you run and I will not HESITATE to consume you." Shiloh took a defiant step forward. His eyes glaring at Pyre, trying to make himself clear. Sometimes he could have a moment of clarity in his speech. Still as his tail raised high, he simply gave off no fear.
