Concerning last week's alpha activity check, and changes to alpha activity rules

Due to unforeseen circumstances, last week's alpha check was not completed by staff until the very end of this week. As this may have caused confusion and disrupted posting for alphas, it has been decided to put a hold on alpha check for the week of June 6-12. This effectively presses the pause button on your current alpha check status. If you failed last week, you will remain yellow (rather than going red) for the week. If you were green, you remain green. Alpha check will resume the week of June 13-19. If you have already posted for the week or have a posted absence, you will pass alpha check normally and your status will change to reflect that.


An important change is also being made to the rules for weekly alpha activity checks from here on out. Absences will no longer allow for an absence/fail cycle for alpha check. A posted absence will not reset a pack's status to green, but will instead pause the current status until the next alpha check. This means that if an alpha fails an activity check one week and goes on absence the next, they will remain yellow throughout their absence and enter the next week with that yellow status and must complete the alpha check or they will drop to red.
