She sat at the border of the moore and the plains. Today was the day and now that she had built up her strength and had been tracking the movements of the prey she was finally ready to call a hunt together. She was more then excited because she also hoped her efforts were pleasing in Regulus' eyes and that she was righting her wrongs. Prancing in place the young women looked into the moore where the hot trail led. She hoped to get some help today because she knew there was at least one easy kill here today, a wounded doe with her spring fawn. She was trailing a group of two or three more doe and she was excited to get to hunting.

She tried to settle herself huffing out a breath before she would call together those who were willing to hunt. It was fairly early in the morning, the deer on the move for a feeding ground after a night of light snowfall. Fresh snow and fresh tracks it was enough to make anyone amped up for the hunt. She couldn't remember the last time she had a strong pack hunt and hoped today was the day.

Once settled she tilted her head back and let out a strong, loud call to the pack to call them fourth for a pack hunt. While she waited she continued to stare at the fresh trail, licking her lips at the thought of bringing down some deer today.

Lais had been patrolling the borders, keeping things in check and putting a few more stones to the border. It seemed that everyone had pitched in and that their borders were solidly marked which was good. Now he only hoped that they could find his cousin despite how long it had been since he had went missing. He was just about Head back towards the dens when a summoning call rang out through the territory making him stop and listen. It wasn't a howl he had recognized, but it was summoning everyone for a pack hunt which made the young male's tail wag in delight. He had yet to participate in a pack hunt and was eager to do so.

Turning himself the male pointed in the direction of the call and quickly made his way there. He really hadn't been all to far and when he reached Ella he could already see the excitement building within her. Grinning the male barked out a friendly hello before he found a spot to wait for the others. This would be exciting if they would get enough members and he was curious to know what was on the menu.

The call of Acapella had the young man curious. He lifted his floppy ears and gently his father nudged him, encouraging he and Etain both to attend the would be hunt. Ron was a little less certain about his sister joining in but… he knew she could hold her own. She was capable despite her handicap, just like their mother. He didn’t want her treated differently for it either. With an eager grin on his muzzle the boy gently tugged upon Etain’s ear. “Come on sis! Lets go catch something yummy for mama!” Then the boy turned away and started out towards where the call had come from, sure that his father at least would be following somewhere close behind.

As of yet no one had found any signs of where Viho had been taken… though his father had shared with his mother {and Ronen had overhead} that the boy had been stolen away from the pack by a loner. Whoever they were Ronen didn’t think they were very bright. His brother was big… perhaps one of the biggest wolves ever! Plus Reg was big too. Between those two whoever took his brother away he was going to find themselves in a world of pain.

But for now Ronen didn’t focus on that. Snow was on the ground again and the winter child practically pranced along before coming to a slow stop near her cousin Laisren. “Acapella~” The boy recognized her. “Papa said you gave a hunting call. What are we going to hunt?”

The fact that his largest child had been the one to be kidnapped bothered Castiel greatly. Whomever had taken Viho had been incredibly clever, yet foolish at the same time. His son must have followed the stranger willingly, naive enough that he’d… Castiel let out a sigh of frustration. No matter what happened though he was going to get his son back. He felt one hundred percent responsible for what had happened and had been even more protective over Ronen and Etain since then, refusing to let them go anywhere near the borders.

As Acapella’s hunting call rose up, however, Cas turned his attention to his remaining children. A nudge was given to both, hoping to stir them into alertness. “That’s a hunting call. Come on, little ones, lets go see what’s on the menu today, hm?” He tried to put on a brave face, a smile, despite being worried for his firstborn. Ronen luckily didn’t pick up on it and scampered out of the den eagerly after a word to his sister. With a quick lick to Kalli’s cheek Castiel was also out of the den, off after his secondborn in hopes that the hunt might be able to distract him a little bit too.

Castiel arrived a few moments after his son, glad to see he recognized at least one of the two other wolves present. Castiel turned his attention to Lais, offering a small smile. “Good day for a hunt, eh nephew?” He hoped the other wouldn’t feel left out of the conversation between Ronen and Ella... and he made a mental note to introduce Ron and Etain to Lais more formally later. They already knew about Rassie… so they should get to know all of their family!

Acapella’s call stirred the young woman from her musings as she dropped off another stone at the borders of Celestial. Surely no one else would make the mistake of crossing their borders without permission now? Still… Rasiel felt ill at ease. There were still wolves missing to this day… and she half debated about asking her brother if he wanted to take a small trip throughout the western lands to search for them. Not Reg, but Lais, since Regulus seemed to have his own agenda of what he needed to do.

Rasiel didn’t mind though. Right now apart from finding the missing members of Celestial she had her own priorities she had to focus on. Getting stronger, training… there was a lot to do. She was hoping that Lais could help with more of that too. She had missed her littermate and wanted to rekindle a bond with him. Her tail swished thoughtfully back and forth as she wandered closer to the gathering site… and brightened the moment she saw her brother and uncle. Sure things had looked dark for a time but… they were getting better.

“Lais!” Rassie barked, coming up to the opposite side Castiel was on and nudging him with her nose. “Hey there~” She had recovered a bit of her good nature since their last meeting… and knew she had both her brothers to thank for that.

Enrico lifted his head at the sound of a howl calling the pack to a hunt. He'd been learning the patterns of the prey that resided here since he'd come - prey much more familiar to him than the animals on the southern continent he'd left to return here. He was slowly becoming used to there being other wolves around constantly. So many months, years even of being alone but for a few isolated incidences had left him without the social graces and ease that he'd once had. Even as quiet as Celestial was it felt too busy and loud with so many intruding into his thoughts. But his ambition wouldn't let him continue to skulk around on his own for any longer than he already had so, turning from his own path, he moved to join the group gathering.

Icy eyes passed over the group, measuring them each quietly. The youths, who all shared a resemblance to one degree or another, the elder male who also resembled them, and the older female who... also resembled the others, though somewhat less. Sight and scent made it obvious that those who had already gathered were related by blood, bar only him. He had seen much the same thing at the pack meeting. It didn't worry him. After all, the pack didn't hold any high ranking members currently, so it didn't seem as though he would be competing against any nepotism in seeking a high rank of his own.

He gave a polite nod of his head to the dark female who he assumed called the hunt, since the voice had seemed older than the only other female, and seated himself a short distance from the group to observe them and listen.

The Ooze Participant

Paladin 'Knight' Ancora

He’d been speaking with Kavamaya about his mother’s depression when the howl rang out. A hunt? Well, they certainly could use the food. Winter had begun, only a day or so ago, and already snow had begun to fall. Presently, it wasn’t enough to impede a hunt, but he had a feeling that it would get deeper.

He stood, turning toward the call with a nod to his aunt, saying "Ba mhaith liom dul níos fearr. Bíodh a fhios agam má thagann sí níos fearr?". Kavamaya nodded, turning back to her sister, who continued to remain unresponsive, and Paladin tore himself away, though it took a great deal of effort.

He broke into a lope as soon as he left the wooded hillock, hastening to answer the call for a hunt. As he crossed into the mists of the moorland he found the small group of wolves gathering for the hunt. A quick glance around told him that none of his siblings were here yet, nor was his father. However, the majority of the wolves here were family, even if he hadn’t caught their names yet, having only been home for a few days. Some of the faces were familiar, though. He hadn’t seen them since he was a pup at his first meeting.

He gave them a smile, tail waving in a friendly wag as he greeted, “Hello. I’m Paladin—er, you may have known me as Knight when I was a pup. What’s on the menu?” His eyes shifted to Acapella; the others seemed to be looking to her as the one who called them all to the hunt.

Paladin has a thick, Educated Irish Brogue type accent. It's understandable.

The dark-coated boy had been trying to keep himself busy since he'd returned home, doing his best to hunt small animals (although not very successful) and check out the borders. He hoped to go on patrol with Regulus one day soon, and perhaps he would find someone to spar with, although he couldn't help but feeling like a little bit of an outcast since arriving back in Celestial. He'd been away for so long, he wasn't sure if anyone recognized him, nor was he really familiar with many of the wolves, even if they were primarily his own family. On top of it all, his mother was so unwell, and he hadn't seen Creed at all. Paladin seemed constantly worried about their mother's condition, and they weren't getting good news from Kavamaya. Would their mother's condition ever improve? He wasn't sure there was anything he could do, although he would try in a heartbeat if he knew there was some way he could help.

Exodus perked up at the sound of a howl, a voice calling the pack for a hunt. Feeling a glimmer of hope, the boy abandoned his most recent failed hunt, having chased a thin hare into its burrow, and went bounding toward the sound of the howl. Perhaps he would do better in a group hunt. Not only did he need to work on his skills and help his pack... he was hungry! His belly was wracked with hunger pangs, urging him desperately to hunt. He hadn't yet gained back all of the weight he'd lost being out on his own, and with winter taking over, he knew it would be slim pickings for the season. Maybe the pack would have a good, warm meal today; perhaps mother would have some fresh, warm meat to keep her strength up.

With so much at stake, Exodus was glad when he finally saw the group of wolves gathered for a hunt, and he picked up his pace a little bit more. He made his way over to Paladin, glancing around at the other wolves, and trying to remember names, hoping to match them to faces. He would listen carefully and make note if he heard any names mentioned, knowing he had to fully immerse himself in Celestial, get to know everyone and feel like he belonged. Today would be a starting point. Quietly, he waited for the hunt leader to get them going, and he would help out in any way that he could - he just hoped he didn't fail on this hunt like he had been on his own for a few days now.

She was relieved when the first face showed up to the call and the response was rather quick in her opinion. The second to show was a familiar face, a vary young face. His excitement made her feel so much happier and more relaxed. Her own tail wagged behind her before she lowered herself to his level a smile on her face.

"We are going to hunt some Whitetail, Ronan do you think your ready?" she asked with a smile.

Shortly behind the boy was his father and she gave a nod to the older male before he took a seat beside the first male who showed. Next came a female who ran over to Castiel and Laisren greeting the younger male with a lot of enthusiasm. Next was another new face, a dark male with icy blue eyes he had the body of a hunter and it meant he hopefully was a pack hunter. Last to arrive were two of Creed's kids. She gave it a few more moments before she sat up and looked to the group. She felt confident that they would be able to take down this doe and her fawn to feed the pack.

"So I have tracked a small herd of Does and fawns. There is two that are struggling to keep up, a wounded doe with her fawn from this year and I feel we have a good shot at taking both down," she started. "So the herd isn't that far and I'm thinking we better split up then split the herd and single out the two we plan to take down. I need some fast ones to split the herd up whose willing?"

He waited patiently, though it wasn't long. His uncle and Cousin were the first to show and he smiled at the two, his tail wagging in greeting. Castiel then came over and sat next to him and he grinned at his uncle. His uncle then spoke to him and Lais grinned again.

"Yes seems like a great day to hunt" he agreed.

Rassie came next and he was happy and relieved that she had shown up. It made his smile bigger especially when she nudged him with her nose. He gently nudged her back his tail wagging and showing off how happy he was. He was also vary happy to see that she was in a much better mood too, he hated seeing her in a depressed mood.

"Hey there Sis!" he said in return.

He watched the other few trickle in. It seemed like it would be enough for a hunt, but Lais was worried about his little cousin and what role he could play that he wouldn't be in harms way. He didn't want his first big hunt to become a disaster, especially since the pack's main healer was out. Although he was sure Castiel had some sort of idea of what Ronan could do. Soon

His attention turned back to Acapella as she began to speak. She already had their targets picked out and had a plan forming. Lais was so ready for a pack hunt and he was glad that he could play a part in it. She then asked for some faster bodied wolves to cut the targets from the herd.

"I'll be one of them," he spoke up.

The boy's silvery-gray ears perked forward when Acapella finally spoke, telling the other wolves what she'd observed with the herd of deer. So, it seemed their target would be a wounded doe and her young fawn. Although he did not know the plight of another species, he felt somewhat bothered about taking down the young animal, but such was the circle of life. If they didn't take down the wounded doe today, she may die from an infected wound, and her fawn might not survive without her anyways. Celestial would be keeping themselves well-fed, and the herd strong by weeding out the weak. He pushed his thoughts aside, knowing it was silly to even think of. Besides, he needed to focus on the hunt leader. She asked who would volunteer to be in the fast-running group to get the herd going and split them up appropriately. Exodus knew he wouldn't be of any use in that group - he'd have to use his endurance and strength to help with this hunt.

"I'm not the fastest, so I'll have to help with taking them down once we've got them separated," he spoke up, the vibrant green stripes under his eyes standing out against his darkly shaded pelt, "Perhaps I can be part of an ambush?" Would that be possible? He wasn't the best hunter, and he couldn't imagine trying to come up with a strategy for such an important task. So he fell silent, waiting for the others to speak up and take their roles, so that the hunt could proceed.

Ronen gave an eager nod to Acapella’s words. “Of course I’m ready!” The young boy glanced up at his father, his bi-colored eyes were shining with delight, especially because there were so many others gathered about. Ron eagerly shifted on his paws, especially as Acapella began explaining which members of the herd they would be trailing after. A doe, wounded, and her fawn. The moment she said she needed someone fast to help split the herd up Ronen eagerly perked his ears up and let out an excited bark. “I’ll go!” He glanced between his fellow packmates, tail wagging eagerly. “I know I’m young, but I’m fast! And if I work with Lais I know we can get them separated!” The boy said with confidence.

Castiel couldn’t help but chuckle at the enthusiasm his son had. One of Creed’s boys was more content to be an ambusher, and Castiel had to admit that position would suit an older wolf like himself better. Let the spry, youngin’s go after the prey and seperate them. He could be part of the team that helped bring the deer down. He eased his claws into the earth, letting out a hearty laugh. “Why not join the boys, Rassie? I’m sure that with the three of you that takes care of one part of the group. Then Acapella can divide the rest of us into the ambush parties.” He glanced over towards Exodus, winking. “Sometimes you’ve gotta have a few strong wolves lying in wait, eh lad?” He was trying to encourage the other members of the pack, gaze returning to Acapella to see what her idea on the matter would be.

Rasiel couldn’t help but feel proud when Lais volunteered to go ahead for the first group. Her tail wagged eagerly back and forth, but before she could make the suggestion of heading with him some others spoke. Including her little cousin, Ron, who was eager to get into the hunt and do his part. Bless his little soul. Rasiel let out a warm laugh of her own at her uncle’s suggestion, pressing into Lais and glancing over at Ron. “But of course. Someone has to keep you boys in line.” She was grinning playfully, her bi-colored blue eyes shifted around at those still present. Acapella, Cas, two of Creed’s children, and another male she couldn’t place a name on at the moment. Perhaps it couldn’t hurt if one more joined their side of the chase… but that was up to Acapella, she was the leader of the hunt after all!
