Heather was eager enough as it was. She felt like she needed to test herself, to get better if she needed to improve to begin with. So it brought her to this bloody location. Her paws pressing into the sand and dirt that was so dry she could taste the lack of water in her mouth. She could see why this was the battleground. There were no obsticles and it was a fair fight this way. Her eyes narrowed for a minute at the scratch marks and other things on the ground. Such fights that took place, she looked up and then let out a howl for a challenger. She was looking for a friendly spar, nothing too special but it would be nice to stretch her limbs. Perhaps get a few scratches here and there. She could not go around disappointing others and she most definitely didn't want to remain ignorant to any sort of fight. Finally, she was getting the courage to go further and further. She was trying to gain confidence, and knew that if she kept being the way she was, she'd never get anywhere in life. She wanted to be strong like her brother, like her mom. So she brought herself here today to try and fix that, or at least, open herself up to new experiences and out of the sheltered life she had been living the last couple of years. The large girl wandered through the battlefield, ears flicking as she noted her surroundings. She didn't think she'd ever been here before, but her brother had told her that she'd have better luck finding something here than at the boneyard. And soon enough, he was right. She paused when a howl sounded, looking for an opponent. Mildly hesitant, she took a deep breath and decided to approach the stranger. She would find her soon enough, a young girl roughly the same age as her. Approaching, Okami would stop about three yards from her, head dipping a greeting. "Hello, are you looking for someone to spar?" She inquired politely, though mentally she scolded herself for asking a stupid question. Of course she was here looking for a spar! A large white woman seemed to have appeared to her challenge. Heather gave a smile and the scent that invaded her nose was familiar. This must have been one of Afrit's littermates... that meant Kharnage's as well. What luck did she have with this family? Regardless she was friendly enough and her tail wagged a little. She'd actually always wanted to fight someone bigger than she was. If she won she might have felt like she was on fire. "Yeah, just a friendly one not looking to mortally injure myself today. My name's Heather Adravendi. You can have first move." Heather would set her defenses. Her limbs spreading, eyes narrowing. All that stuff that was needed for this, after all she had to concentrate at the task at hand.
