ooc: Set directly after the Creed x Vi fight - anyone is welcome though preferably a healer. Feel free to power play him a bit if you want.

He ran as best as he could away from the pines, past the horror that had taken place, as far as he could go. His wound throbbed painfully and the movement was only causing it to bleed more but he didn't care. He had to find someone to help his dad. His voice was hoarse from howling and he the dizziness was beginning to get worse, but he couldn't give up now. He let out one last long howl, as loud as he could muster, before he collapsed in a bloodied heap. He was panting and doing his best to keep it together, but he couldn't stop the sense of dread that overcame him. No one was coming to help, they should have heard his calls. Someone should be here by now.

Panic welled up in his chest as he laid in the snow. His neck hurt, he could barely think straight, and his vision was beginning to blacken around the edges. Finally he couldn't choke back his feelings anymore and he felt himself beginning to break down. He hated it here now - it'd forever be stained with this memory. His dad was going to die and it was his fault. Why did he have to come here by himself. Creed had come here because of him and all of this was because of him. Tears welled in his eyes at the thought. No one was coming and his dad was gonna die in vain cause he was stuck here, alone, without anyone knowing where he or Creed were and he was bleeding out from his neck cause he got stupid.

Finally the thoughts ceased as he felt his hold on consciousness slip.

Alfrun meandered slowly along the tumbled edge of the wall. Not exploring, no, not here in the north which was as familiar to her as her own paws. No, she wandered simply to be within herself, and to watch the Other World without the inevitable distraction, however welcome it was, of one of her family members appearing. But alas, this was not to be. She had stopped to watch a glowing jewels toned hummingbird zip around her, leaving a gleaming trail of silver to glitter in the air behind it, when a desperate howl drew her attention.

She tilted her head consideringly for a moment. She could simply ignore the sound and the trouble it would undoubtedly bring. It wasn't, after all, her business to care. This was not her home. There was no real call for hospitality and kindness in this case. Yet still... it was perhaps an omen that she was here at this moment.

With a breathy sigh the wraith moved into a more purposeful trot, coming shortly upon a yearling wolf collapsed in his own blood. She studied him with interest for a moment. What unusual green markings he bore beneath his eyes. They did not look like paint - perhaps a dye? But why? The possible reasons intrigued her.

She dabbled the toes of one forepaw in the pooling blood, and brought it up to stare. To her normal sight it was nothing more than ordinary blood, but to her Othersight it seemed to pulse with a strange rhythmic glow. The boy stank of fearscent and despair. Idly she wiped the blood onto his shoulder in a swirling pattern. Well, nothing for it but to save him. She had heard enough stories of the gods appearing in mortal form seeking help that she dare not walk away now.

She tugged regretfully to pull the scrap of deer hide from her back where she had placed it in an attempt to give her slender form some warmth as she wandered. Normally it served as her bedding. It would be ruined now. A pity. She would have to trade for another. She carefully pressed the deerskin against the wound, sealing it to soak up the blood and allow her to put pressure to stop the bleeding. She would have to find some way to move him to the redwoods if she was going to do more to stop the bleeding. She didn't carry anything with her to dress the wound. It was a long way to drag a weight of any sort, though, and likely impossible given their relative sizes. Well, the boy would just have to be able to walk on his own, and that was that. If he didn't wake, well... she would ford that river when she came to it.

What a strange sight the foreign women had to be. Hidden under a large Grizzly bear pelt that had been fashioned into a cape and her deer skull mask that hid her facial features The snow made it hard to see and hear her bracelets, but they were there. She hadn't been in these lands for to long and had been mostly thriving in the North. The winter here was bitter, but the tall slender women had been fairing well so far. She had yet to come across others, but it didn't bother her, her three spirits were with her almost constantly and had been her guidance through her whole life so far. Even when she didn't understand them half the time, but they helped her through life. She had been exploring mostly, when the weather wasn't horrible and she was able to move through the snow. It had been interesting so far seeing the different places in the north and getting familiar with the layout of the land.

Today had been no different, she was exploring a new territory that the name of she didn't know. The snow was lighter here and the temperature not as bad She was getting closer to more warmer territories were hopefully the winter wasn't as harsh. As she moved closer towards the area known to most as the wall. She was coming from the mile high woods heading towards the wall before the strange women came to a stop. She took a deep inhale once.... Then a second time confirming that she had not been dreaming. She smelled fresh blood and she could tell it wasn't that of a prey animal. Silver blue eyes narrowed slightly under the skull mask before she moved forward again, this time in a quicker pace.

She was a healer and when she smelled blood her natural urge to worry about a potential patient would kick in. Moving across the winter land the female soon spotted another wolf ahead. Hurrying she was glad to see the other was still standing, until she grew closer she spotted the second form collapsed in the snow. Eyes narrowed further as she saw all the blood in the snow. Moving over beside the two she looked over the situation closer thinking over the best options before she slipped her skull mask off and ducked her head under her pelt cape to pull out the satchel from underneath. Opening it she rummaged through the things within it until she came to her bundle of horsetail. Pulling it out she gently pulled back the deer hide, applied the horsetail to the wounds to help bind them and them put the deer hide back to ensure they stuck

She nodded her head in quiet greeting to the other female before lowering her face to the boy's nudging his cheek with her nose. She needed him to wake up so he could take something for his shock and hopefully if this other female was willing help get the boy to shelter to continue to treat and get out of the cold.

"Must... Up Now!" she said to the boy before nudging him again. She spoke broken English giving away that she spoke other tongue.

The state of unconsciousness was welcoming for a little while. Just the inky darkness to keep him company. He couldn't even feel the pain in his neck anymore as he laid in a puddle of his own blood as it stained the snow. He wasn't even aware of how long he stayed like that before the figure came. It felt almost like a dream and he was only faintly aware of the paw as it brushed his own blood on his pelt in a swirling motion. He didn't notice the warmth either as something was draped over him and then pressed into his wound. There was also no will to wake up either. Waking up meant pain and it wasn't something the yearling was ready to face yet.

And then the second wolf appeared.

He wasn't aware of her presence either, but his body recognized the lack of warmth as the deer hide was removed from his wound. His eyes shifted under his closed eyelids as the consciousness slowly started to come back as the horsetail was applied to his wound. It wasn't until he felt a cold nose against his cheek and a voice telling him to get up that he awoke entirely. Eyes snapped open and amethyst and teal flecked gaze blinked wearily at the two wolves. One was normal, well almost normal looking, with two different colors. It was almost like she was split in half.

It was the other wolf that brought him alarm as she nudged him again. She was almost celestial in coat color, reminding him a bit of the night sky. His eyes being unfocused didn't quite help either as his eyes rested on the strange objects she wore. Oh god this was it, he was dead, wasn't he? He hadn't made it after all. He groaned softly as his neck wound gave a painful throb. If he was dead then why did that still hurt? Maybe he was just dying and that one wolf was death ready to come reap his soul? Did that make the other wolf an angel?

"Am I dead? I must be dead." He muttered a bit deliriously.
