YOUNG AND A MENACE
It was a strange sight, the towering pillars of strange trees. They grew thick and choking in the clearing they had rooted in. Luckily, Kaine had seen these plants in their travels. A wolf they had met in the past had called them bamboo. Of course, the wolf had also said that a strange type of bear feasted solely upon the plant, so who's to say he was telling the truth? Regardless, the titan stepped forth. Snout would extend slowly, nearly grazing the smooth shaft of green. A few tentative sniffs, and they retreated. Something about this place was strange. It smelled of decay and fear. The simple, nonthreatening plant seemed to have fooled a few in the past. Trapped, many must have died in here.
Far from a fool, Kaine opted instead to scout out the reaches of the forest. How far did it extend into the surrounding area? The question was to be settled mostly for curiosity's sake. Limbs reached out in long strides, carrying their bulk around the edges of the forest. They would be sure to keep a lookout for the so called pandas, though they sounded like a creature of myth at best. The deity peered through the tiny gaps between the shoots, searching for whatever the flies were feasting so noisily upon. They could practically hear the maggots writhing within the rotting flesh within.

Heavy paws fell upon the the moist floor just outside the strangest foliage Alis had ever seen; tall, hollow (she presumed) shoots had sprung up from the ground and now swayed with even the slightest hint of a breeze. They created an odd clunking sound so relaxing that it was almost as if a siren lived within, orchestrating the musical rhythm to entrap her unsuspecting victims. If it weren't for the smell of death, she wouldn't have known better and would surely be one of the numerous fools to fall into her poisonous arms. But no, she knew the smell very well.. It called her to remember the whole reason that she was forced to flee home and find refuge in such a strange place. The tiniest of shivers ran along her spine. She found herself staring absently into the depths of the forest, mid-step. She didn't want to remember; not yet. That demon would have to wait another day. So she continued, loping just on the outskirts not quite sure where she was headed. It was only a few meters more and she happened upon a mass moving toward her, which took her a minute to realize was another of her kind. The gigantess froze, blatantly staring. It had been so long since she'd had a social interaction that for a moment she lost all ability to draw a composure.

Someone approached, with a heavy gait and a delightful scent. A femme rounded the corner, similar to the deity in height. However, this woman was muscular. She bore more resemblance to the Abraxas clan than perhaps even them, and it was both shocking and aggravating. Luckily, the mortal was just that, a mortal. Far from a goddess like their siblings. Crimson gaze bored into their flesh, blank of expression. "Something amiss?" They questioned, brow arching. A tiny, charming smile would tug at the corner of their lips. They could not deny that she was quite a sight, of course. Something about her expression was a little worrying, though. Perhaps she was struck by their divinity? Wouldn't that be a delight. ooc. sorry it's so late and crappy, working long days takes it out of me :c |

After her frozen fit, a sudden rush of emotions flooded Alis. It took her a moment to process all of them - first fright, then anger, and finally skepticism. She had to remind herself that not all wolves were going to be a vile as the one she had grew up with. Her shoulders shifted to the left, positioning herself in a cautious stance as she gazed over the individual in front of her. They held themself with almost an arrogant aire, making the situation a little awkward for the giantess. Their dual colored eyes seemed to judge her with a little irritation, which unnerved all the same. She did not know this wolf, so why did they stare as such? Her own blood eyes stared back, studying every muscle that moved. Their curious expression eased her only slightly, and coupled with their smirk gave her enough courage which allowed her to retort. "Not at all. Only.. who are you?"

YOUNG AND A MENACE
The monochromatic female shifted her stance, taking on a defensive posture as soon as the blankness faded from her features. Disappointing, but not unexpected. Thick coat would ripple as tendons flexed to arch the golden godling's powerful neck and raise their crown high. Witnessing the scrutiny with which she regarded them, the titan became all the more smug. Truly, they were something to admire, were they not? Finally, words would tumble from her slackened jaws and dark lips. Of course, none were aware of the clan amassing itself in this continent.
"Kaine Abraxas, descendant of the Fallen One, love." Rumbling vocals would purr, a debonair grin flashing their ivories at the femme. An extravagant dip of their cranium towards the ground, a mockery of formality when performed by the dark creature. When their two-toned gaze fell upon her visage once more, charm bled from their very pores. A certain laziness in their actions spoke to their ease, each movement displayed their aloof nature for all to see.
"I would be delighted to learn what name was bestowed upon such a lovely creature as yourself." They would add, for the sake of being polite. See, Kaine was not as monstrous as their siblings. Some semblance of formality still clung desperately to their soul, most of the time. Mostly when there was a pretty face to admire. Far less occasionally when they were hungry, or tired. Many of Amon's brats (the word was used as lovingly as possible) would likely have tried to murder the lady by now. Kronoah's children would have slaughtered her already, without doubt. Tail would flick across their pallid heels, simply for the sake of movement while they stood still.
