heaven's full & hell won't have me

Well this place certainly was strange, he never thought that he would talk to a feline in his entire life. He shook his head, slightly confused about this region but not really caring too much about it. He moved away from the past area and moved on to the next, he could smell water and even though it was rather cold outside he could see what seemed to look like steam rising up from the pools. His sapphire eyes narrowed and he softly huffed to himself. The water had a strange smell to it so he decided that maybe it wouldn’t be the best idea to drink it.

Slowly he would approach the water though, slowly putting a paw in it and it was rather warm. It was actually quite inviting from the chilling weather so he would slowly move into the water and sigh. What a strange thing, (he had never witnessed hot springs before) but regardless it was quite nice and he would sit there for a moment. The water reaching up to the small of his back, he realized that one he got out he would have to quickly dry off but he could care less. If he got sick he got sick, he could take care of himself. He always did.

God Boreas looked like such shit. At first she'd enjoyed the cooler temperatures but now the chill of the wind was just biting into her skin. Her pelt wasn't designed for this. The only thing she couldn't complain about was the sun. At least now she didn't have to worry about getting sunburn. No now she just had to freeze her damn paws off. Stupid weather! A disgusted look crossed her face as she padded through the snow. She wasn't quite sure where she was headed, but going back to the southern continent sure was tempting.

She traveled a little further until a warm pool caught her attention. Waves of heat radiated from it as she got closer and she reveled in the feeling for a moment before realizing she wasn't alone. Pink colored eyes traveled to the male in the water as she studied him for a moment. Was he stupid? As inviting as the water looked she could only imagine he'd be a popsicle the minute he got out of the water to dry off. She paused at the edge of the water as she stared at him for a moment longer.

"Is it your intention to turn into an icicle the minute you come out of there? If so you're doing a marvelous job at it."

The brute heard a voice and his ears flicked, his sapphire gaze looking up to see a woman standing near the edge of the water. “Thanks,” he grumbled sarcastically, though he didn’t really care either way. He had survived worst in fact, getting beat by his dad nearly all day made him care less and less about his physical health. If he could manage this far then he’d probably be fine this time around too. And if not, he at least didn’t fear death.

“Who are you?” he asked the albino fae, he still sat in the water because he honestly could probably stay in the waters for hours. He wasn’t sure about drinking it but so far his skin wasn’t melting away or anything so it couldn’t be that terrible, right? His sapphire gaze looked her up and down before he looked back in the water. Looking at his reflection for a moment and noticing a rather peculiar scent coming from the fae, ah, was she in heat?

Sarcastic tones reached her ears causing a soft chuckle to escape her. So, she had a feisty one. He still seemed crazy but at least he wasn't boring this far. She'd run into far too many dull wolves in her travels and was getting rather tired of being bored out of her mind. With Adra not around to keep her company she had to find something, or someone in this case, to keep her entertained. Ears flicked as she took a seat by the pool as he questioned who she was. She wanted to preen in front of him and let him admire the beauty of her coat, but she kept her arrogance at bay for now. If he couldn't recognize her splendor then he was clearly an idiot.

"Anamalech Abraxas, though if you don't annoy me you may be lucky enough to call me Ana." She purred to him softly. "Who might you be?"

Her name was Anamalech, that was an interesting name to say the least. Her last name he could care less for, and she asked who he was. “Vulcan,” he offered his first name, but he would never bother with his last name. He didn’t want the disease of his shitty father spreading around, and if the brute ever produced pups he would never want them to have his last name. They could have their mother’s name for all he cared. “Do you live around here or something?” he asked, staring at her with a sapphire gaze. Vulcan had seen albino creatures before, maybe even melanistic creatures, but he was unaware that those sort of traits ran within wolves too. It was interesting to say the least, as the only unique thing about him was his incredibly dark violet coat. But that was about it, and other than that he was nothing amazing.

Oh how boring, no last name whatsoever? What family didn't have one? She turned her nose up at the idea honestly. The only way her kids wouldn't have her last name was if she killed them for incompetence. Well, at least if he didn't have a last name, his first was rather interesting. It reminded her of a volcano. It was only a shame he wasn't covered with lava-like markings. Now that would have been enough to render him worthy of her approval. In the mean time her gaze traveled over what she could see of him. He wasn't ugly by any means. Maybe a little plain, but his coat color intrigued her. Black was never fully entertaining, but the purple tinge to it was something she liked.

"No just visiting." She quipped back as she glanced around them. The pool was warming her as the steam rose, though the water was a tempting idea. She just wasn't fond of freezing when the time came to get out so she remained in her spot at the edge of the pool. "And what about you, you from around here?" How ironic would it be for him to live near the volcano?

Just visiting, hm, he was going to ask why but maybe he didn’t have to. Vulcan wasn’t really one to pry, in fact he didn’t really hold conversations well anyways. “I’m not from around here, I’m from a different region,” he said and flicked his ears, he was from far far away but that’s not like many cared anyways. He was sure that many wolves were wanderers and travellers and such. “I suppose I live around here though, I don’t have a permanent place to stay because I could care less about packs,” he said. “But I kind of wander around this area I suppose,” he explained and shrugged. Vulcan kind of liked not having a true home, the places around Boreas were quite interesting anyways.

“So if you’re not from around here, where are you visiting from?” he asked, “And why? It’s winter, there’s not a lot of prey or resources.” he noted, though maybe she would give him some type of answer. He probably wouldn’t understand it, or maybe he would.

Ears flicked again as he explained he was from somewhere else. Ah so he was a traveler like her family was. What made him come to this god forsaken place? The fact that he was a loner with no interest in packs delighted her. So he was a rebel too! Most of the packs she'd seen so far seemed so squishy and pathetic. She couldn't blame him for not wanting to join one. All those stupid rules. Do this, participate, pull your own weight, don't kill others, blah blah blah, so fucking boring. What was life if you couldn't do what ever the hell you wanted to?

"Thank the Fallen God you're not one of those fucking drones." A soft huff left her as she thought about it. "Packs are so boring. Too many rules for my taste." Now if Amon managed to get a pack going ... now that was something she could get behind. Not in a force in either continent would be able to stop them. "My family originates from another continent entirely. We left to spread the Abraxas name. We couldn't all stay at home after all." She explained. "As to why I'm here though, I'm escaping the god awful heat of the southern continent. It's too fucking hot. And then there's always the promise of new souls to torment."

Fallen God? Perhaps she was religious, well, Vulcan wasn’t. He never really believed in all of that bullshit and his parents never really mentioned that stuff to him. It was whatever though, and she seemed rather happy that he wasn’t a drone. He guessed a pack wolf, “I agree,” he grumbled when she noted that there were too many rules, “I don’t think I’d get along well with a wolf who supposedly has more authority than me,” he said and shook his head. All of that crap was made up due to the society that they had made. Naturally he guessed wolves were pack animals and sociable, but he wasn’t. He was of a different breed.

“How is it seemingly so hot there when it's Winter here?” he asked, confused, “I didn’t even realize there was a southern continent, I guess I haven’t been doing my job as a traveller very well then lately,” he noted. He would have to check this place out, especially if there were more wolves like her living around there. She seemed interesting so far and he found himself running into too many softies around this place. He needed to see if she was really speaking the truth about the hot weather too because that was hard to understand.

A soft snort left her as he made the comment of having issues following a wolf with more "authority" than him. Well he had that right for starters. She couldn't imagine following a mortal. Yuck. Following a weakling was about the equivalent of committing suicide in her opinion. She wasn't fond of taking orders anyways. She only half heartedly listened to Amon, despite the fact he was younger, because he'd proven his ability to lead. Even then she was more than content to wander off and do her own thing. She only chose to follow his example simply out of lack of wanting to lead herself.

"I couldn't tell you. I can only assume that the seasons are backwards the farther south you go."

It was the only answer she had for him. Why it was so hot there while it was still snowing here, well she had no earthly idea. She didn't often focus on the weather and instead spent half her time just trying to find a climate she could enjoy. Too much cold and she complained and too much sun and she wanted to kill somebody. Past keeping her skin from burning she didn't quite give a damn.

"If you ever need a partner to explore I'd be more than happy to show you around. The southern continent is so much more enjoyable as far as sight seeing goes."

She couldn’t give him a reason as to why the seasons were backwards, it was mainly just the further south one went the more backwards it would become. He nodded, “That’s odd,” he said and huffed slightly, she did offer to be an exploring partner and he shrugged once again. He often preferred solitude rather than speaking to other wolves. Some wolves were complicated and too analytical, trying to hide things or be secretive when he really couldn’t give two shits about their lives or their pasts or whatever the hell they were doing. But this woman did seem pretty straightforward, interesting in fact.

“If I ever need an exploring partner, I’ll find you,” he said and smirked, “I don’t think you’d be very hard to find,” he said, noting her pelt and her appearance. Slowly he would stand up, the cool air hitting his back and he would slowly slip out from the waters. Quickly shaking out his pelt and trying to dry out his fur as much as possible. He could care less if he sprayed water on the other wolf because if she was smart enough she would get out of the way. To his surprise he wasn’t freezing yet but maybe that was just him, his fur still damp but at least not dripping and such. He looked at her with a smirk, “So anyways,” he started, “What’s your family like?” he asked.

Pale eyes studied him as he shrugged. Most probably wouldn't have been insulted about the fact of being turned down, but she was a god. Who turned down a god when they offered to escort you? Finally he gave her an acceptable answer and she nodded softly. Well if he ever made his way down to Auster then at least she'd have some company. She could already picture ways to rub it in Adra's face if she could manage to track him down. More than anything she would use Vulcan's presence to spite Adra if she could. It'd show him for up and leaving her without a word. How dare he.

Her attention diverted from Adra and a soft smile curled upon her lips as he mentioned that she wasn't hard to find. Oh so now he noticed her looks. It was about damn time. She was almost beginning to think he was blind ... or was only interested in males which would have been a shame.

She didn't get to enjoy the attention for long as the male finally decided to try being a living icicle. She stepped backwards and allowed him the space to shake off, not wanting to join him in being colder than she already was. Finally he was done and turned to her with a smirk and she was surprised by the question about her family.

"Hmm, think of us like a garden. You get a very wide variety depending on which one of us you meet." She said with a grin. "Some are very uptight, while others very chaotic and would rip your face off with one wrong look." It was a good way to explain it. Pyralis came to mind when she mentioned the face ripping. Her sister was more than enough fun to be around.

His tail flicked, “A garden?” he asked, “That’s one way to put it,” he noted as she explained what they were like in a short manner. “Interesting,” he said, as she said that some were pretty uptight while others were very chaotic. It didn’t sound like something he couldn’t handle though, so he wasn’t sure if she was trying to instill fear into him or anything. “My father was pretty chaotic,” he said and sat down. He shrugged though, the past haunted him but it was the past. He couldn’t change it even if he wanted, “But he was pretty fucking stupid too,” he said and laughed a little bit.

“If there’s any piece of advice I could give, don’t let revenge cloud your logic.” he said, “My father heavily trained me in battle, he thought he could shape me into some type of super warrior because he wanted revenge. He wanted it so bad, and I was a product of it, you see. A product of hate towards a kingdom whom technically did no wrong, he simply broke their laws and got exiled.” he explained to the other female, not that she had asked but he decided that it was a pretty interesting story. “So he kidnapped my mother, who was the heir to the throne. Had me, and then she was exiled because my grandfather didn’t want any bastard children around.” he said, “Kind of fucked, but I freed myself from my father so now I’m here. Still living, still surviving. I guess worst things could have happened." he said and shrugged.

Hmm so they were talking about him now? She was pleased he liked her garden analogy and she would have gone on to explain her family more, except she wasn't quite sure if he was ready to hear about their greatness. Instead she was happy to hear more about him instead. What kind of mortal was she dealing with? At least she didn't have to prod him for information. He was making her life a hell of a lot easier right now. There was no need for the manipulation and deceit - he was an open book to her now.

Her head tilted to the side as he offered her advice. How odd - it'd been so long since she'd gotten advice and never from a mortal. Well talk about fucked up family life. It seemed as though he wasn't wrong about his opinion of his father. At least he'd been smart enough to not fall under his spell and rid himself of the man. The independence was something she liked in the mortal. It showed he had his own brain and was willing to use it as well as his muscles to get out of a situation he didn't like. Yes, it was so refreshing compared to the cowardly weaklings she'd seen.

"Well you're right about one thing, your father was an idiot." She snorted. "My family would have executed any imbeciles such as him before they were given a chance to royally fuck up like that. We don't tolerate weakness." She said with a snort.

The albino female stated that her family would have executed him before he could really do much and he laughed, “That’s nice to know,” he said, “Honestly, I should have killed him, but it’s sort of nice to know that he has to deal with his mistakes now.” he said and shrugged, he could finally feel the chilly winter air pierce his skin and he took in a deep breath. Trying not to let it bother him as he looked at her, “All that hard work he took to kidnap my mother and train me, just so I can disappear,” he said and smirked.

“He’s somewhere out there, but I could give less shits,” he said, “He could go fuck up somebody else’s life for all I care,” he said and looked at her once again, “So your family, is it a large one or is there only a few of you?” he asked.

She smirked as he laughed about her family killing his father if he'd been a part of their family. "Making him suffer with his failure sounds like a wonderful form of torture. Very deserving for someone of his nature so I approve of the decision." Not that he needed her approval, but his father would have to live with his failure for the rest of his life. It'd be a painful reminder every day he lived.

If Vulcan was lucky maybe someone else would kill him before he managed to get to try all over again. Either way she was sure he would barely be a thought in anyone's mind. All traces of him would fade from existence. Ana most likely wouldn't remember him unless she was reminded later on. Now Vulcan, so far he seemed like a male she'd keep in her memory for a while to come. His presence was entertaining. The fact he was interested in her family intrigued her. It was a matter of pride really - she could boast about her kin's prowess for days to come.

"Oh we're quite large. We're taught at a young age to have litters early. Most children who fail to live to our standards are culled of course, but the few who live get to carry on the glory of the Abraxas name and then repeat the breeding process once they're old enough." Of course there was her, who hadn't had a single litter at the age of five. Aby had been a fun experiment, but it was obvious there hadn't been a single godly bone in her body, no matter how much Ana had believed her to be a miracle dropped at her feet. No, she'd been a lie and now needed to be erased completely.

He smirked when she said she approved of the type of torture he had inflicted on his father. He nodded, and she would begin to explain to him her family now. She said that her lineage was quite large, and at a young age they were taught to have litters as soon as possible. He nodded, slightly confused but he sort of understood.

“So you just breed to spread your bloodline then?” he asked, “Does that mean you have children somewhere out there?” he asked, he so far hadn’t had any children. Or if he did he didn’t know about them because he had remembered a few one night stands with some females he had never seen in his life. But that was about it, if they were wolves somewhere who he had fathered he could care less. Perhaps it was ironic, his dad was terrible to him and if he was a father or ever found himself becoming one, he just would decide to not be around. But part of him thought that was probably better.

Ears flicked as she took a seat again and listened to him. It wasn't just about spreading their bloodline, no, though she supposed she hadn't done a good job of explaining it. It wasn't often she shared information about her family to an outsider, but she secretly was enjoying the attention and the curiosity he had about the subject. The question about if she had kids irritated her, but the anger wasn't directed towards the male. Instead it was just towards Aby and her own disappointment that no one worthy enough had yet come across her path. She was five winters old now and she realized she should have started having litters by the age of two.

"I have a daughter, but she's an utter disappointment. I do believe it's time to erase her from this world. She hasn't lived up to my family's expectations." That was the easier question to answer, so she'd chosen it first. "We breed to create an army. Our ultimate goal is to return to the godly realm where our ancestor, the Fallen God, once ruled."

The supposed daughter of this female seemed to be a disappointment, so Anamalech wished to erase her from the world. Interesting and brutal to say the least, but it bothered Vulcan none. He had never met the albino’s daughter so he had no say in it, and he couldn’t care enough to really say anything about it. He was barely beaten to death by his father, but he sort of agreed with getting rid of the whole weak links in the world.

She then explained that they breed to create an army because they needed to return to some godly realm or whatever. Vulcan’s sapphire gaze narrowed a bit, “Hm,” he said, “I’ve never really been a religious man,” he admitted, “But that’s sort of interesting I suppose,” he said, “So who is this Fallen God you keep on mentioning?” he asked.

When she didn't hear complaint about killing her own daughter she had to admit she was more than a bit surprised. Normally those that weren't her family were so pretentious about it. "Oh you'd kill your own daughter, what a monster!" Oh the complaints and horror she'd hear in their voice. To her it was only a way of life. She'd only made it this far in life because she hadn't been a disappointment to her own father. She'd already been at a disadvantage because of her smaller height. She had to make up for it in other ways. Aby was neither respectful or godly - now it was her time to die.

Pale ears flicked as he mentioned he'd never been religious which didn't surprise her in the slightest. Most wolves she'd come across, mortals really, were never religious. He claimed it was interesting though, which was probably about the most amount of praise she'd get from him. So long as she didn't insult their way of life then she didn't quite care.

"He is the ultimate god. He ruled over all the lesser gods until they grouped up and cast him down to the mortal realm, hence my family's presence here on this filthy world."
