It was time for him to start his new life alongside Song. And what a better way to start it than to join the pack that she was a part of. She'd talked to him about Ludicael a couple of times, but she'd never really gone into detail, so the information he had about his possible new home was extremely limited. He wasn't worried though; if he was accepted, he would familiarize himself with the land soon enough. Obsidian paws carried the man towards his future home, his lovely ivory dove padding beside him. He gave her a gentle nuzzle, placing a gentle kiss to her cheek as he lifted his head up, the border of Ludicael coming into view. Pace was slowed until he came to a complete stop at the border, his wife coming up right beside him. He smiled at her before allowing his skull to tilt back, a summoning call erupting to bring out the alphas of the land. His call echoed across the border, hopefully to reach the ears of the alpha. He was eager to know if he would be able to join Song in her home so they could raise their family on their home turf.

Pearly paws carried Song next to her darkly colored mate, a grin clumsily drawn on her maw. They were on their way to her pack's territory. Cherokee was ready to join the pack that had so graciously brought Song into their family. She had told him what she knew of Lucicael briefly, and they had talked a bit about it on the way. If Aria was to accept them she didn't for see there being too many problems. She nuzzled him back encouragingly, her movement full of love for him.
She let her head fall back in time with his, her sweet call a beautiful compliment to his own. Aria would recognize her call, Song felt bad for not being able to tell her about Cherokee before. She hoped she would forgive her.

She had been going about her daily routine, checking the borders for any rogue scents crossing, when she heard the howls. She lifted her head, ears swiveling to pinpoint where they came from and who they belonged to. At first there was a deep howl, obviously male, but his voice was not familiar to her.. Mixed into the first was a second howl, beautiful tones that could belong only to a woman. A smile spread across her lips she she recognized this one, Song.

She was off within seconds, paws carrying her along the border at a steady yet calm jog. In minutes she could see the outlines of two wolves, a dark one which must have been the male and of course the white one belonged to Song.

Song my love, how are you? She called with a friendly grin, coming to a stop before the two wolves. Her ears swiveled to the side, her head following, forest green gaze falling upon the dark male who had a patch of white on his ear. Welcome stranger to Ludicael, I am Aria, the Borealis of these lands, also known as the beta. She gave a respectful dip of her head to him, her gaze going back and forth between the two wolves. A friend I believe? How may I help you two on this fine day?

He couldn't help the proud smile that curled his ebon kissers as Song came up beside him, throwing her head back as her musical voice intertwined with his, both their voices calling out to the alphas or any other high ranking wolf. It didn't take long for someone to appear, the figure of a tawny wolf coming up several yards away. Mismatched gaze was steady on the approaching figure, nasals twitching, determining the scent to belong to a woman. Apparently Song was familiar with the tawny woman, her affectionate words telling him as much. His wife hadn't told him about this particular friend of hers. He wasn't worried. She had probably overlooked her, which was completely fine. He would have plenty of time if he became a part of her pack to become familiar with all those she had befriended.

The obsidian brute dipped his crown respectfully to Aria, taking a moment to clear his throat before he spoke up. It's a pleasure to meet you Aria, my name is Cherokee. I am Song's husband. She's told me so much about Ludicael, and now that we are wed I would like to ask if you would grant me your blessing as to allow me to call Ludicael my home. I couldn't bare to live anywhere but here beside my beautiful wife. There was honest sincerity in his words as he appealed to the beta of Ludicael. Hopefully she would allow him to stay here and live permanently, seeing as though she was already what appeared to be good friends with his wife.

It was not long before Aria made her appearance, her lovely form drifted from the trees quickly after their call. Her orange fur bright against the dull background, green eyes dancing with welcome. Song let her maw erupt into a smile, her ears falling to a more submissive place, giving Aria the respect she deserved. "Hello Aria! It's wonderful to see you on this lovely day. I've been quite wonderful. I've brought my husband to meet you."

She looked over to her companion, her eyes lit with pleasure at being able to show him off now. She let him speak, Aria had addressed him and not herself. It truly was Cherokee who wished to join, and not just Song wishing for him to. He had made the decision for their family. Song loved him for it.

07-03-2013, 10:38 AM (This post was last modified: 07-03-2013, 10:39 AM by Deteste.)

The sol patrolled the borders tiredly. He had done much traveling today and intended on returning to Jupiter's match once the patrol was done. He had only come to tend to Medusa's wounds and insure her safe passage to Ludicael. Only a moment ago there had been a break in the rain. Now the water fell again but the spray was light and warm. Deteste could feel the snow beneath his feet begin to thaw. He paused, for a single moment, to allow himself a minute of rest. Landing his rump somewhat roughly on the wet ground, shoulders relaxed and head bent earthward.

His ears lifted as a stranger's song suddenly filled the still air. Deteste's heart fluttered as he deciphered the call. It was a summon but... he supposed it was friendly. There was perhaps a bout of paranoia beginning to grip Deteste in the eve of such harrowing events for Ludicael. He only wished to protect the land and it's members. As much as Deteste desired to return to the battlefield he decided to approach the call. Many duties had been left in Aria's hands. She deserved some help. Deteste also thought, no, he knew that the presence of the Sol was important and in these times that his appearance would be reassuring. Standing and turning towards the westward borders of the mangroves Deteste began his trek to the call.

It was not long before he was within a close distance of the caller. Once he was in sight Deteste could also distinguish two other members. Aria and Song. He had not met Song before yet he knew who she was. It was like this for Deteste with many Ludicael members but he was starting to catch up. He knew most of them personally now. As he approached he was able to hear some of the dialogue between the three wolves and in this way Deteste was informed of the call's purpose. He closed the distance with a surefooted gait and dipped his head in Aria's direction, offering her a weak but sincere smile. "Hello. Aria, Song." he spoke, "I heard the majority of your conversation as I approached thus there is no need for us to repeat ourselves." he turned to the black pelted male who stood beside Song, her mate. "I am Deteste, Sol of the Ludicael and I wish to welcome you to our pack as long as you are loyal to Song and to the wonderful community that lives here." his smile widened and though he was excited for this addition to the pack, his heart was heavy with worry and the toll of duty.

ooc: Crappy post, sorry! I apologize for the wait, been busy.

The male introduced himself as Cherokee, Song's husband. If Aria didn't have control of herself her aw would have dropped at that. The lovely female had joined Ludical in late Autumn, but felt like it was only yesterday. She did not want to question their sudden love for each other but it seemed really fast, one should think properly before jumping into marriage. The only sign that showed she was surprised by the news was her eyes widening the slightest, but that wasn't very noticeable.

Her head tilted to the side, ears perking up as she listened to the male speak. He wanted to join Ludicael with his wife, and wanted her blessing for it. Aria smile at this, giving a small yet light cheerful laugh. Of course he would be welcome, Song was a good girl and the Borealis knew she would bring a wonderful wolf into the pack. She just didn't expect it to be her new husband.

When he finished the woman had spoke up, only causing Aria's smile to turn into a toothy grin. A husband, I am happy for you Miss Song. I am a bit saddened though to find out I was not invited to your wedding. She said in an obvious mocking sad tone, sticking her bottom lip out and making her eyes go wide. She suddenly laughed though after holding that pose a few moments, giving the woman a playful nudge before backing up just as Deteste made his presence known.

Ears swiveled towards his voice, the grin still on her face as she turned her head to gaze upon the male. After he was done speaking she turned back to the couple. Has Song told you about our laws and how we run? She asked curiously.

Before the woman Aria had a chance to speak, a large charcoal male came padding up towards the trio, his gait confident and oozing of alpha. Crown dipped towards the higher ranking male, acknowledging his presence as he spoke. I am Deteste, Sol of the Ludicael and I wish to welcome you to our pack as long as you are loyal to Song and to the wonderful community that lives here. His own answering smile curled his dark lips in response to Deteste's. It is very nice to meet you sir, thank you for allowing me the opportunity to become part of this wonderful pack. I swear I won't disappoint. It was several moments after Desteste had spoken before Aria piqued up again, asking if Song had informed him about the rules and the way things were run around the place. He glanced towards his wife, chuckling quietly to himself before turning back to the betaess. No ma'am, my lovely wife here hasn't gotten me up to speed yet.

She was suddenly alerted to the presence of Deteste, his large form coming upon them after Aria had arrived. He greeted her like they were already friends, which was almost true. She hadn't quite met him yet but she had heard of him. She was glad to finally be able to make his acquaintance. Her head bowed in respect and to reply to his greeting. He seemed quite willing to allow Cherokee into their home.
Aria took her turn and as she did, her words made Song once again regret that Aria had not been able to attend their wedding. She lowered her ears, saddened at her inability to find and invite the beta. I wish you would have been able to have been there too. It was beautiful. She smiled at the memory. She let her mouth fall silent as the attention was turned towards Cherokee.

He smiled amiably at the couple though his mind was filled with thought and his heart burned with anxiety. As business was finalized and conversation became casual, as casual as the Ludicael laws could be, he realized that he could not be sincerely present with the duties that current weighed on him so heavily. He shed a quick glance to Aria, one that spoke his needs and his appreciation at once before addressing the couple before him once again. I apologize but there are some pressing duties that I must attend to. I hope that you do not mind my departure. Aria is a wonderful beta and she will do anything to help you settle in Cherokee. he spoke, turning his head and directing his tight smile at the sandy woman beside him. Thank you Aria, for all that you are doing and all that you have done for the Ludicael. I hope to see you soon after this harrowing business. and with those words he was off again, his nose pointed in the direction of the battlefield.
