ooc; Please let Aislyn and Chronos talk for a moment unless you are a high ranking Valhalla wolf... After that anyone is welcome, if you want.

"you have no idea what it's like when the monsters of your nightmares come back for you."

So much had happened since he had returned to Alacritis, so many things had changed. He had returned to Valhalla, re-accepted into his home while on death?s door by the king at the time- Collision. Within weeks of being home, the love of his life had also returned to Valhalla, and he finally expressed his feelings for her. All in the same day, he had fought with one of the wolves he had become a beta with, Aislyn, and the fight had followed him in the seasons followed. Spring brought him back to the Valhallan borders, not seeking acceptance- or forgiveness. Seeking closure, and seeking to explain himself or settle the terms with a wolf that he had once considered ?friend?.

Instead of the ghost of himself, that had left the pack he had called home, he returned to its borders, coat shining in the warm sunshine. Healthy and strong, the wolf had returned to make some sort of amends. Sparkling blue eyes, met the borders as he inhaled the familiar scent of home. He would not grovel today, no, he was far too proud for that. Gray hairs flecked his muzzle, showing his age, and though his mind was still clouded, he?s heart was warm as he came to halt at the border. No longer feeling a part of Valhalla, he stood there, his head turning up. Muzzle kissed the wind, as he let out a summoning howl.

?Aislyn.?

Things in Valhalla were starting to die down again. The wedding was over, a new alpha had taken her lead over Valhalla, she and Friction had worked things out, and Liberty was growing and doing very well. It seemed as if everything was perfect again... until she heard her name called at the borders of Valhalla. And o make things worse, it was Chronos calling her. Her lips curled slightly as she stood up, leaving her family behind in their den. She made her way toward the borders. It was obvious she was very agitated. Why was he here? And where was Blu? Had he finally realized what he did was wrong, and was coming back to apologize? She could only imagine why he was here. She snickered at the thoughts. He better be here to apologize, or she would rip his head from his shoulders. As he came into view she slowed into a steady walk, her hips syncing beautifully with her body movements as she came up to him. She was a sensual creature at heart, and her tempting body, devilish smile, and breath taking blue eyes usually did the trick on most males. But Chronos? He had an attitude problem. "You called." She said plainly as she came to a complete stop a few feet away from him.

"you have no idea what it's like when the monsters of your nightmares come back for you."

The ivory dame, that contrasted his ebony looks had not taken long to appear at the edge of Valhalla territory. ?You called.? That was the only statement she offered him, and it did not give him high hopes as to the outcome of this meeting. A sigh slipped from his jaws, and he offered her a slight nod, before standing to speak. His stance wasn?t aggressive, nor defensive. His tail held slightly aloft, as he readied himself to speak, taking in a deep breath.

?I am not here to apologize, Aislyn. No, I will not grovel like a pup.? He was far too prideful for that. ?Nor am I here to return to Valhalla? He would fall silent for a moment. Should she ask, about his pack choice, he would share his current delima, though he wasn?t interested in offering any further information, yet. ?I am here, because we need to talk. There are some things I?d like to clarify, things you do not understand.? His mind was made up, someone of Valhalla was going to hear his side- someone was going to understand that, he, Chronos was no betrayer- no abandoner. No, someone would know the truth.

?Should we call a witness? Or can I trust that we can both remain civil, as I say what I need to say?? His final question wasn?t meant to inflame, and fell softly from his jaws. It was an honest question and one he felt he was right to ask. If this was to turn to a blood bath, he wanted someone else around to understand that it was just.
