Blast from the past

He had decided to take a little trip out of the pack lands today, to get a look around and maybe even meet a few new faces. He had also hoped to look for new hunting spots, now that they were down a member he felt he should also try to pitch in there too. So he had left early in the morning and headed to the lake nearby, hoping that it would be a good spot to trail some game. The lake should have a good population of game around it since it was one of the main water sources of the south. Moving along the male lowered his head to the ground he began to take in the scents around him. Looking for new and for old scents, just starting with figuring out if this was a well visited spot. So far it was seeming like old scents, but as he got closer more and more began to arise. Some fresh and some old, but more and more scent trails crossed and mixed telling him that this was indeed a good spot. Eyes spotted trailed, beaten down in the earth by animals traveling the same route. He grinned knowing that this would indeed be a good spot. He made it to the edge of the water before stopping to look around again, wondering if anything was out today. |

He wandered like he always had. Though nowadays he didnt like moving to far from where he last saw Storm, but he needed fresh supplies. And he knew farther south there was a large water source. Water meant easy prey and lots of herbs.
He didn't have a pack to feed him but he did consider joining with storms. Though he didnt want to rush. He'd never rushed anything in his life. Decisions should always be made after thinking everything through. He was not submissive in any way and deemed to never be. Though he could certainly see himself being a follower to some. Should they prove to be worthy of it that was. He was no spring chicken and had seen to much already. He sat at in the shade of a low hanging tree and watched the waterfront.
He'd been here for hours now. Waiting for the perfect opportunity. When lo and behold a spotted and dappled coat reveled something much less appetizing to him but more intriguing. He'd only ever saw such a pelt on one frostbite wreckage. His ears perks and he stood. His muddy pelt was well hidden in the shade but he gave up his surrise spot to move into the light. He gave a low bark to sound the male to notice him. And his approach came towards frosts side after he rounded a path. He gave a grin. The boy was all grown now and he wasn' sure how much he remembered. He' been there for a season after frosts birth it had never made himself truly scarce until frost was about a year old. He let frost take the lead in this iinteraction.

His ears perked as a low bark sounded from behind him. His eyes fallowed the sound to find a vary familiar form approaching him. It had felt like ages since he had seen the older male and the last time they had been around one another he was still a young pup. But Frost remembered him, it was hard for Frost to ever forget someone after having interactions with them. Besides Chinook was close to his immediate family and one of the males he had looked up to as a pup. A smile slipped onto his face and his tail began to wag in a friendly and happy greeting towards the older male. "Chinook! It's good to see you!" he stated glad to finally see a familiar face of home around. "What have you been up to?" There was so much he felt he had to tell Chinook including his new high rank with the pack he was thriving in. He also had a mate now and well so much has happened since he had last seen him. He had wondered if there was anyone from the clan Chinook kept in contact with. Anyone that he was traveling with. |
