Oh The Larceny!

Waltzing through the north had been all well and good, but Echo was finding as she made her way down into the west that the climate was much more to her liking. She may never go back! And she probably wouldn't be missing a thing, anyways. Who even lived up there? No one she wanted to hang out with, that much was for certain. Slicking out her tongue in disgust at the very thought of the ice and snow up there, the little woman padded quickly between the tar pits, shaking her head and trying not to shudder as she put memories of the frozen north into the back of her mind. Say, these pits were pretty weird! Tar so black it made her fur look lighter by comparison was bubbling in pools in the ground. It smelled awful, and looked like she probably didn't wanna touch it. The woman would have been content to ignore it and keep moving, but then she spotted something shiny in one of the pools and was fairly sure it was some sort of jewelry bubbling up from the depths of the pit. She leaned closer, inspecting the pit and wondering if she could find a creative way to reach the item without getting her fur covered in tar. Walk. "Speak!" "Think." |
