She padded forward to the willow where Stardust resided. She hoped Torin wasn't too far behind, that or he was ahead of her, either way worked for her. She didn't want to do this alone. Torin thought it was in her belly if the looks he gave to it were any indication. The barely there bump made her think maybe it was worms. Though she wasn't sure that counted for the sleepiness. It was close to mid-day.
She stopped outside and layed in a nicer patch of sun carefully before giving a quieted bark for Stardust. She didn't want to disturb anyone if they were busy. Her ears pressed back and she layed her head down. She wanted her best friend and brother Torin to explain so she didn't have to. But she knew there would have to be communication on her part too.

Still his stomach was knotted, he was doing his best to keep his fears down. He was honestly probably overreacting- but he had to know.

Torin was right behind her. It calmed her a little bit but anxiety still built up inside her. How did she tell the healer what she had to? What if frostbite or Rory showed up while she explained? She leaned into Torin as he stood beside her. Her ears pressed back with the building anxiety of this. Should she just tell Star she felt ill? That her stomach hurt? Would that work? Torin suspected something and she wasn't sure she wanted to know what, with the way he was acting. Star approached easily and behind her after she asked what she was doing here, was Frostbite. Should she see if Torin could get the older man to leave? She wasn't sure. Alois was quick to land on her head as he watched her become so anxious from a perch on a tree. He gave her a quick and quiet encouraging word and she had to swallow her fear. This was it. Torin wouldn't let them throw her out hopefully. She was one of the few that did everything she could to stay. "Jewell was...... hurt. Man do something, give sickness..... Jewell bite man face...." She didn't want to use that ugly word, rape. She hated it so much. She was really hesitant with her words. She looked to the dirt in front of her and leaned heavily on Torin's shoulder, somewhat trying to hide behind him in case either became infuriated with her. Torin had promised to keep her safe, she hoped he would keep that promise. Walk, "Jewell "Alois" Think |

Jewell was an obvious ball of nerves, her anxiety nearly infecting Star and causing the healer to worry even more over her pack mate's mental state. The younger wolf attempted to explain, but the vagueness of her words could mean many different things to a healer. She could have been poisoned and hurt by that, resulting in sickness, or she could have been wounded internally if she had been attacked. She could also have worms, judging by the soft swell of her stomach. In order to know fully and understand, Star would have to know exactly what happened. To get that, Jewell was going to have to calm down. "Torin, will you take Jewell inside, please? I think she would feel safer in there. Frost, love, please watch outside. I am thinking this is something...private." She gave her mate a kiss to his cheek and then (provided the younger pair listened) she followed the two inside.
Being that her mate was more than tall, Star's den was large enough for the trio to fit inside and still have a bit of moving room. She also had branches off the main den that acted like storerooms or sick beds. Looking over the anxious Jewell, Star's light blue eyes softened. "I am going to get you something to help relax, and give you a bit to keep with you. I am going to need to know exactly how the male hurt you to make you sick in order to help you cure it, so I need you to calm down, the extra is to keep any remaining anxiety at bay." Her words were gentle, soft and motherly, but she spoke as an equal would and then ducked into her herb storage and rummaged around to find something to help the rainbow child with her nerves. Grasping a bundle of lavender, she returned to the pair and set them down after crushing the delicate and pungent leaves of the plant. "Breathe in the scent of these, but do not eat them, they would not taste good. Keep breathing deep until you feel better, then please, tell me what happened." She kept her voice soft, and there was always worry on her face.
What could have happened to the rainbow child?
The man settled himself beside his sister, keeping that slight contact. Star asked for details and Torin felt a slight pressure on his paw, Jewell was gently pressing her own paw into his. That was their previously agreed upon signal that she wanted him to jump in for her. "Jewell told me about a man she met who... " He softened his voice before speaking again, he was very aware of the feeling of his sister pressed into his side. "he... raped her." The word tasted like bile on his tongue.
"When I found her she'd just been physically sick." It took a decent amount of his self control to keep his gaze from once more sliding to her abdomen. It was almost as if he thought that if he ignored it it would turn out the slight curve he'd seen would all be a lie.

When Torin sat she followed suit. Star asked for a more detailed explanation on what happened and Jewell wasn't sure she could give it. She didn't like using that word, didn't know if she could even put English to it.how did she even begin? Where should she start? She looked at Torin for a moment before she lightly pressed her paw onto his. It probably was unfair to ask this of him.
She lowered herself so star could diagnose her better, laying with her back against Torin and her legs out to the side. She lowered her head to the crushed petals and let the healers herbs start helping all she could. Hopefully Torin's explanation helped. She just didn't know what could be wrong. Her ears pressed back as another pang touched Her, making her feel like she was going to be sick again. Only she hasn't ate nothing so she couldn't get sick again hopefully. She closed her eyes and focused on breathing through her nose until the pang passed and she was able to breath again. Slowly she opened her eyes and looked to the healer. She was sure neither star nor frost wanted to smell that in their den.

Looking over the slight swell in Jewell's body as she lay prone on the floor of her den, Star listened to the hushed tones of Torin as he spoke, her bright jade eyes going wide and a small whimper escaped her. "Oh, Jewell...honey, I am so, so sorry you had that happen!" Looking to meet her patient's eyes, her gaze full of sympathy and tender warmth, Stardust noticed small signs of oncoming nausea. Hoping to halt the inevitable sickness that followed for a short time, the healer moved toward her underground stores and rummaged around for a bit.
Finding a single, small root that she brought with her from her home, Star chewed it in half and put a bit into a turtle shell, moving swiftly to gather water and come back. There were no hot springs, like the ones she had found on her journeys, but the water would have the taste in it. "Drink this, it will help. The root is called ginger, and eases nausea. It works better with water from hot springs, but this will help." Smiling kindly, the healer let her eyes wander down towards Jewell's swollen abdomen. With the crime committed against Jewell, she had to wonder what had caused the swelling, but that would hinge on one thing...
"Jewell...I have to ask a very personal question. Forgive the awkwardness, but...um...when the male attacked you...were you...in season?" Her tone was gentle, and carefully measured to keep the trepidation out of her sing-song voice. Though she couldn't help feeling awkward for asking. If the male had attacked her in such a manner, and she had been in heat, the swelling in her belly could very well be the scoundrel's children. She was unsure how Torin would feel, but she could only imagine hearing about your sister's heat cycle would be unbelieveably awkward. Still, before she could go further, she would have to rule out pregnancy. With these crimes, there was always a possibility. Especially given that she had all the early warning signs of such.
She nodded when star brought her a drink and took a few quick laps at the water. It was flavored weird, not unpleasantly so but strange nonetheless. She looked back up to the healer and nodded her thanks. She could still feel the nausea but it was slowly starting to ease the more she let herself calm and settle in stars abode.
She had ignored her apology, mainly because she knew the healer hadn't done it so there was nothing to be sorry for. At least on Star's part. This was the second time this had happened to Her, and she blamed herself for adventuring in the first place.
When star ask about her heat cycle she tilted her head. "Season? What that? Is like spring?" she hadn't had the talk with anyone. She didn't even know that she had the possibilities of becoming pregnant.
