With a spear clutched firmly in his teeth, Jupiter marched towards the second pit trap he was making. There was still quite some distance to go; unlike the first one, the new pit was well outside Dauntless' borders. Far, far away from ill-tempered mothers (it was one accident, geez!) and hapless packmates. He paused a second to readjust the grip on his spear and think about what had happened the day his mother had gotten mad at him. Maybe her anger wasn't such a bad thing after all. Because of it he'd gotten to meet his father, right? That was pretty cool. Since then he'd had been sneaking out regularly to be with Angelus. He liked him a lot, actually. In the beginning he wasn't sure he'd ever be able to feel the same kind of love for both of his parents, but the more he got to know his father, the more his affection grew. They had a lot in common and Angelus was willing to teach him pretty much anything he asked to be taught. And he answered all of his questions without getting mad, which was nice. A skittering in one of the skinny crevices caught his attention. Without looking to see what it might be, the boy drove his spear into the rocks. If it could skitter, it could be eaten and he didn't particularly care if it was a lizard or something equally little. He'd take it home and show it off anyway. "Jupiter"   "Amadeus" ”You”

The young wolf had kept to himself most days. Rein was around if he wanted company and Ty was too he supposed, but he didn't want to bother the other wolf. The way he saw it was that Ty had important things to do between running a pack and the kids he had running around. Not that he'd physically met these children and gotten to know them, but he'd caught glimpses of them. They were the first kids he'd been exposed to since him and his siblings so he wasn't sure how he was supposed to feel about them. Then there were that star colored woman's children running around as well. He'd never seen wolves with coats like hers in Auster, so maybe it was a Boreas thing? This entire continent was really strange, but he liked the challenge it gave his brain. It was fun to sit and think about all the differences between the two continents. He'd decided to change up his routine today though. A small part of him realized he really needed to get to know the wolves he lived with, at least one or two of them and certainly not all at once, so he ventured out to see who he could run in to. Surprisingly enough, the first one he caught sight of was one of the star wolf's pups walking around with a strange sharpened stick. What on earth was he doing with that? His curiosity was piqued now as he trailed silently after the younger wolf. Finally the little blue child stopped and stabbed the stick into some rocks. Legion hadn't missed the sound coming from there either. Was he hunting something? It looked like it, but that was an odd way to do it. "Is that effective?" He asked as he approached the little star child. Walk, "Talk" Think

After several moments of frantic stabbing the skittering stopped. Jupiter was on the verge of pulling the stick back when a voice surprised him. He cocked his head and twisted around as far as he could without letting go of the stick. He could just barely see the other wolf out of the corner of his eye. "Umff," he slurred around the stick. Ack, well, this wasn't going to work. Maybe it would be better just to show him. Jupiter took a big step back and then yanked on the stick. The first straight pull didn't free it so he wiggled it from side to side while pulling backwards. Little by little the stick slid free until all of it was out. He hoisted the sharpened tines up so the stranger could see that a large black snake (riddled with holes) was skewered on the end of it. "Mmhm," he managed to mouth around the stick. "Worss pree good." This was the first catch he'd ever made this way, but he wasn't going to tell the older boy that. Jupiter was content to let him believe he hunted successfully like this all the time. "Jupiter"   "Amadeus" ”You”
