Just Mindin' My Own Business

Their efforts to find their brother had been fruitless. The pair had lost his trail long ago, and had absolutely no idea where their wandering brother might be. Enigma had gone searching elsewhere, though not too far to where they couldn't hear each other should either of them get into trouble. But it had been awhile, and no doubt he was coming hot on her heels to regroup. Huffing, she grumbled under her breath at her dumb brothers knack for taking off and pulling a disappearing act. So engrossed with her annoyance at Forsaken, she almost missed the border markers that seemed to be in her way. Her ears flattened, sapphire eyes narrowing as she grimaced. Had this pack always been here? Frowning, she eyed the land beyond the markers, debating if it was worth waltzing through or if she should wait here for her brother to join her first. Sighing, she decided she would do the smart thing and wait. Who knew, maybe someone of interest would show up while she waited... |

I'll show you how a heart can never fail
Frost wasn't the only one worrying about the state of the pack. It was about time he approached some of the older members, like Frost and Zell, about some more training. He'd gotten lucky in his first fight, he felt, and he wanted to ensure that whatever problems came to Lirim that he could properly handle them. He needed to master fighting. He wasn't sure how long that would take him, but he was going to do it.
He was just on his way to seek the male out when another scent caught his attention as well. This scent was older, feminine, and most certainly a loner. The strange thing was that he hadn't noticed a howl at all. That was rather odd? Why would a loner be at the borders without howling? There were a multitude of reasons, only some of them bad, but he hurried anyways just to see what was going on.
He arrived and came to stand by Frost as the male asked if he could help her with something. He gave Frost a sideways glance before eyeballing the white female again. He assumed she'd been traveling and perhaps had just come across the borders? It wasn't an impossible thought. Maybe she was just contemplating which way to go now. Either way, he would regard her with a healthy amount of caution until she stated her business.
