It's a blimp [rory]

She was getting huge, and she swaddled everywhere she went now a days. She was hopefully close to her due dat since the more she got bigger the less comfortable she was. She had to wonder how many children she was having with the size of her, and if they were going to be huge or not. She hoped not, she wasn't sure she could handle too much. She was tiny and she knew it.
She was out for a walk. Alois was at their den working on his nest. For the first time since her incident she had felt comfortable and safe enough to take a walk alone. She was absentmindedly walking down the bank of the river. It was the farthest she'd been from her den in almost a month. She felt almost useless to the pack, but she kept working on her work to make things they could use. She moved towards one of her traps. She hadn't checked this one for a while, so she might as well. She had the traps in plain sight for her pack mates so none got caught, though she didn't know if they knew what to look for.
As she made it there she found nothing ensnared and stopped. She took a quick sniff and sighed. The game trail wasn't there any more, she'd have to adjust it's location. She lowered her head and broke the sampling it was attached to. Then she grasped the share in her mouth by her lower canines. Then she lifted her head and and glanced around for another game trail. Not that she should set it here in the valley, in fact she should set it near her den so she wouldn't have to leave her pups for long after they were born.

I'll show you how a heart can never fail
Rory was feeling rather drunk on happiness lately. With his mother home he could finally rest easily knowing she was safe and sound. She'd even managed to bring Miach home and he was pleased about that as well. She hadn't had any luck finding Kane, but his cousin was an adult now and could figure things out on his own. If he wanted to come home he would and Rory had managed to convince Faite of that much. He didn't want to see his mother run off on any more suicide missions out of some unnecessary responsibility to find her missing family. She was needed more at home right now - especially since he wasn't sure how to handle all the things life had been throwing at him lately.
His morning patrol was long since over with and the young male found himself at a loss of what to do with himself. There were many options laid out before him. He could always go find Faite or Frostbite for a training session or he could always go bug Zell. His father would have been more than happy to give him tips in fighting. Of course he could always relax for a bit and find Kairi. His twin would be up for an adventure he was sure.
Instead he didn't decide on any of those things as Jewell's scent caught his attention. He hadn't missed the differences in it and he certainly had noticed how fat she was getting, but he was pretty sure it wasn't from eating. Curiosity got the better of him and the male trailed after her for a while. Finally he caught up to her as she was taking down some strange contraption she had set up and he studied her curiously for a moment.
"Hey Jewell, what are you doing?"

As she was trying to decide where to put her snare next she picked up the scent of Rory on the wind. She turned in his direction as he approached and smiled at him as he asked what she was doing. She placed the share on the ground and spread it so Rory could see it completely. "I is moving prey trap. Prey walk in get foot stuck and die. Jewell not have hunt then.... Make easy for Jewell when she give birth." she was hesitant and looked away to the left when she spoke of giving birth. Would Rory be angry? She knew she could of aborted the children but something about that just didn't sit right with her. They hadn't asked for this just like she hadn't and they hadn't done anything to warrent such actions from her. It was their father's fault not theirs, and hers for exploring that day.
She took a breath to steady her courage and looked to her leader, hoping he was not angry. She pressed her ears expecting the worst. He could throw her out if he wanted but then she knew she would have to find another pack immediately to keep away from the man if he came after her. Should she tell him? Would he ask? She was a ball of anxiety and nerves.

He offered her a smile in return and then looked at the trap she had made with a fair amount of interest as she laid it on the ground for him to inspect. It was an interesting little mechanic - he'd never thought about alternate ways of hunting. He was large enough to take down young deer on his own so he'd never really had to worry about hunting. That or he had a pack behind him to help with larger hunts. She was a much smaller wolf though, far smaller than he was, so it made sense that she'd find another way to get the job done. He liked the contraption at the very least.
"I like it. It seems like it's very useful."
His thoughts took a sour turn at the mention of her giving birth. He'd had a talk with his father who had given him the talk. It wasn't exactly a pleasant conversation, embarrassing to say the least, but it at least explained the whole rape thing to him. Now that he looked at her though everything clicked together. So that was why she was fat! It made him beyond glad that he wasn't a female. He looked at her with pity for a moment before he forced the feeling away. He highly doubted she wanted his pity.
Now the question was, what did he do about her attacker. He'd killed the last wolf who had harmed her - it was something that still left a sour feeling in his stomach. His solution couldn't be killing everyone who dared even look at the little rainbow woman the wrong way. She looked easy to take advantage of, even more so now, and he knew he had to do something to rectify the situation.
"About your birth..." He trailed off for a moment while his brought fought to figure out what to say. "Jewell, I'm going to have to confine you to the pack territory for the time being." He glanced away for a moment. He felt guilty that he had to do it, but he wanted her safe and this was the only way he knew how to do it. "You've got babies on the way and now more than ever I need to know where you are so you're safe. The only wolves you're allowed to leave the territory with are myself, Torin, Faite, or Frostbite, okay?"

She watched his face as he seemed to know exactly what she meant by giving birth. He had pity on his face briefly and she couldn't help but feel thankful that it wasn't anger. At least he wasn't angry with her. She wasn't sure if he would be wanting to know how though, or if he would guess.
What she didn't expect was for the next words to come from him. He was keeping her in Lirim like she was a prisoner. Was he wanting to punish her for being attacked? It wasn't like she wanted to leave anytime soon if anything she never wanted to meet anyone that didn't come to their borders again. Though even then she felt like she'd rather not. If they weren't known to her she almost would rather not meet them. "I not want go no where." She nodded, she understood a part of it.
She didn't want to be punished though she understood he probably had to so he didn't look bad to the pack. She understood she needed to think about her unborn but since she was pregnant there was not much that could be done to her anymore. Though she didn't want to test that.
She still hadn't thought of many names for her children, in fact the only one she had was that she wanted to honor Faite with naming one of her children after her. "Rory not mad at Jewell?" she wanted to know if he was. She knew she was apparently trouble for the pack, besides her best efforts to stay out of the way and not be.

Rory's face relaxed in its sternness as she nodded in understanding at his words. It wasn't a punishment, but rather the easiest way he could keep an eye on her. It would force her to find someone if she wanted to leave somewhere, though he believed her when she said she didn't want to go anywhere. He couldn't really blame her either. She'd been through a lot and had met some undesirable wolves. Ariet had been a stain on the face of Boreas and had hurt her far more than he wanted to ever let anyone hurt her ever again. This was for her own benefit.
"No, of course not." He answered her question. "I just want to keep you safe, Jewell, and this is the only way I know how. You're small and eye catching so I guess wolves just think it's okay to take advantage of you." He explained. "Speaking of, once your babies are born I want you to take fighting lessons, it'll be mandatory, okay? I'll train with you and then I'm sure Faite, Frost, and Torin won't mind teaching you either. You at least need to learn some defensive moves, where to strike an opponent to temporarily distract them, and then you need to learn the best strategies on escaping, okay?"
She wasn't the only one he was going to make it mandatory for. It was about time everyone learned how to defend themselves. Kairi came to mind, as well as Stardust and Jaidah. He wasn't about to have a repeat of any more mishaps any longer.
