He didn't like doing this on his own, in fact he still didn't feel it was his place, but the pack needed to have a meeting. It had been far to long since their last meeting and he was hoping to get some ideas on how to get activity within the pack up. So he had decided to host this meeting. His lanky form moved to the spot that meetings had been called and he took a seat. This was going to be hard because the last meeting Stardust was here by his side and this one she wouldn't be, she had been missing.

He made himself comfortable around the same spot Rory was the last time and sighed before looking out over the valley. He hoped everyone showed and that everyone would have some input, plus there was announcing that Hailey was back which was some good news. Lifting his head up he let his deep chested howl erupt from his chest calling fourth the pack to assemble. He let his howl drawl out before he lowered his head and shifted himself to a more comfortable spot to wait on the others.

A meeting was long overdue, so when the large male heard frostbite's call he answered. He left the stream where he was attempting to fish, but he quickly learned that he was a terrible fisher. They kept slipping away most of the time, and other times he missed his target by a landslide every time he tried to lunge for one. Of course, it probably didn't help that he shut his eyes before dunking his head in the water, but fish probably weren't that good anyway!

He spotted Frost sitting in the usual spot, and Zell was disappointed to see that his son wasn't here. Where had Rory gotten off to? He had to give it to Frost though, the guy was doing a swell job of running things around here. And Zell would offer his help to keep things running smoothly. He stopped several feet from the alpha, head dipping in greeting. "Hey Frost, how goes it?"

She was very prompt about where she should be at what time. Shiva made that certain as her eye in the sky. After all Hailey felt she had to prove herself a thousand fold - she was going to be held at certain expectations she was sure of that. So when the call for the meeting rang out, the hunter rose to her paws. Shiva flying above her as she headed towards Frostbites call. Not exactly sure what to expect, she was certain she'd get a shock at the state Lirim was in. How much could change in a couple months time, a few seasons.

At first all she saw was Zell, a male she didn't know too well but was aware of him. The father of Faite's pups. "Zell Hello!" Hailey would greet with a chipper tone, a smile on her face. That was before she looked to Frostbite and gave him a dip of her head. Getting comfortable as Shiva landed on her shoulders. Front and center for the meeting.

Just entering the territory, she spotted her father and was about to go bother him when she heard Frostbite's howl. She watched her father abandon whatever he was doing and followed. Of course, she got distracted as she followed, so she didn't quite make it right after him but that was fine. When she did arrive, she was obviously still early. Only two wolves had shown so far. Her father of course, and "Hailey!" Her tail wagged as she bounded to her. She had met the woman once before, when Kairi had almost ruined her little garden. She didn't know where she had gotten off to, but she was glad she was back. "Welcome back! We should do somethin' later!" She beamed, hoping she would take up her offer. Maybe she had someone new to play with now!

Torin hadn't been as active as he wanted, he had spent much time with the pups and a few days outside the pack but he hadn't been putting in as many hours as he wanted and Torin knew he had to be better.

Frostbite called for the pack and Torin rose to his paws, quickly trotting towards where the meeting area, he frowned as he approached and noted the absence of his brother. Where was Rory? Still he couldn't exactly speak, he wasn't one of the first one there, maybe Rory would be here in a few minutes. The Illif settled himself towards the front of the group, turning his gaze towards Frostbite. He was keenly aware of the other currently gathered wolves, Hailey and his sister behind him and Zell... he still wasn't sure where he sat with her father anymore...

He shook his head to clear it and focused on Frostbite.

She'd sort of confined herself to the area around her den. Some of her kids had went missing and it made her concerned their father may have found out about them and come and taken them. She hadn't even told Torin of her suspicions yet, but the howl she heard couldn't be ignored. Her appearance she knew was haggard and it wasn't like she could hide the worry on her face. Blaise and Naeva were on her heels as soon as she  was up and called to them. Blaise not as easily coaxed to behave as Naeva was but he was worried about his siblings as well, he just didn't show it as well as Naeva. She gave a bark for Priscilla to join them as well as she started the trek to the valley. It wasn't long and she was there. She nudged her children to sit with Torin before she moved towards Frostbite. He would of no doubt noticed her other children's disappearance as well, but she needed to ensure he knew. She stopped short and dipped her head to him before she quietly whispered so he might be the only one to hear. "Toulouse and Montagué have gone. I fear he has taken them...." she stopped and stepped back moving back to her remaining children. Would Frost help? She knew not. She sat with Torin laying her head against his shoulder. Did he see it? Did he know her worry? She felt like the last few months had brought her and him closer than ever. She knew if there was one to rely on it would be Torin. Maybe he would help her find them.

Zuriel took a breif moment to give her fur a shake to get rid of the dust and leaves that always got stuck in her fur while she was workin on her den and herbs before she finally made her way toward the meeting that Frost had called them for. It had been a while since their last meeting so Zuriel was kind of glad that some kind of activity was happening in the pack. She had little sense of what was happening around the pack, even with her own family members. She hadn't seen her sister or her nieces and nephews in a while which really was her own fault. She had gotten so caught up in her own worries and concerns over her children that she hadn't let herself think about much else.

She was surprised to see such a small crowd gathered when she arrived, but she tried not to worry about it too much. She gave Frostbite a smile as she settled down on her haunches near the rest of the group. She glanced around at the other wolves that had arrived so far and keeping an eye out for her children, hoping they would arrive soon as well.

Returning home was a strange feeling, and Fortune was unsure what was really happening. It was like living in a dream. Maybe she was still knocked out on the floor under the herd of mule deer that had taken her out originally, and it had in fact, been a mess. That was okay. If she was dreaming, the dreams were good.

Frostbite's call rings out, drawing her back like a moth to flame. She approaches with her usual confident stride, gaze pinging across the faces of the group that had already gathered. Her nieces and nephews, and Zell, as well as a woman she didn't recognize. A soft nod of her head and wag of her tail, taking a seat to listen to Frostbite's message.

Daelos walked into the clearing where they were holding the meeting shortly behind her mother and was quick to settle down beside her. It seemed she was always just one step behind her mother for most things. She smiled a little and brushed her shoulder against Zuriel's and looked around at the other wolves for a moment. She couldn't quite remember the last time they had been to a pack meeting. It was kind of nice to see other wolves for once since she usually kept to herself.

Sometimes she forgot how many cousins and family members she had here... maybe she should try to catch one of them later to talk or something. It was kind of strange to think that she really didn't know how to hold a conversation or make small talk. She brushed the thought away and turned her gaze to look at Frostbite since he was the one that called the meeting after all. She'd have to work on her anti-social problems later.

The call for the pack to gather had not gone unheard. Rin knew he more than likely wouldn't be the first one there. More likely the last one, he thought. He hadn't socialized with anyone. Didn't really know anyone except by name. He could put names to faces, but in the end, he had never spoken to anyone but Frost, Zell, Faite and Fortune. Then, a heavy reminder that Fortune was back. And Faite had disappeared again. He kept to himself. Always had since the events that happened in his life. He felt doomed to live out his life as a hermit pretty much. A loner within a pack.

The bedraggled, scrawny male made his way slowly towards the meeting place, gaze dull and his entire appearance just screamed pathetic. Maybe he had always been pathetic. He was Isardis' son, yes. But his life so far, had failed to live up to his father's expectations. Then again, did his father ever have any expectations for him? Probably not. It didn't matter now though, did it? The Armada line was barely a dim candle now, nearly snuffed out. They were no longer the great family they once were. And one day, the name would die out and the stories of his father and the Armada's would disappear from everyone's tongue. It saddened him to an extent. The Armada's had done great things. Horrible things. But still. He arrived among the small group, eyes finding Fortune but he was too embarrassed to go sit near her. So he remained at the back of the group, waiting for things to start.

She saw her mother rise and her ears perked. Ma was answering what sounded like the alphas call. She had been gnawing on a bone from a deer either he or Torin had left for them. Their mother had grown too worried to hunt for them and anymore she spent alot of time walking around the territories borders. Monty and Toulouse had all but disappeared. It wasn't like her brothers to do this. They had all learned from such a young age that loyalty to the pack and family was a must. When her mom barked for them she bit Blaise's ear and tugged. She was following her mom as quickly as possible. The walk was long and quiet except for Blaise's constant complaining and grumbling. When they got there her mom nudged her and her siblings to sit with their uncle and she happily obliged, coming to sit at her uncles paws so she could see and hear. It was likely very important. And their mom went to speak with the alpha and she watched, though she couldn't hear what was being said. She could guess though. Her mom was likely saying how her siblings had disappeared. It was sad to know they were gone but she just gave a wag of her tail and looked up to Torin with a sweet grin on her lips.

Breasal lifted his head from his paws to listen to the howl that went out to call the pack together for a meeting. When was the last time they had a meeting anyway? He shrugged at the thought and got up, giving himself a quick shake before trotting away from his den to make his way over to where Frost had called from. It was a little odd still to know that his mother wasn't leading the meetings and such any more, but he liked Frost a lot so he was happy to respond to the man's call.

He showed up and looked around at the other wolves that had come as well. He saw several of his siblings among the crowd, but he decided to go over to his father and sit down next to him, giving Zell a quick smile. He hadn't interacted with his father much, or any of his family really, in a while so he was happy to see them. He looked up to the front toward Frost was sitting to give the man his full attention whenever he decided to start the meeting.

He really didn't want to go. But Naeva and mom forced him to. When they arrived after many complaints from him, he was ushered over to his uncle and he moved to sit behind him. He knew his siblings were missing, he cared but he didn't let it show. If anything his bullying of Naeva and Priscilla had become worse. He was rowdy and sometimes uncontrollable for his mom. He was completely different from his siblings. He was going to be alpha one day as well. He laid over Torin's tail and aimed to chew on it, knowing his uncle was likely busy with his stupid sisters. He didn't care what frostbite had to say, he wouldn't understand half of it anyway. His eyes were on the others gathered. They were the only kids it looked like. Of course that meant he was the only boy too. He hated that.

The girl was in a bit of a dampened mood, and could one blame her? Usually she was bright, bouncy, full of energy, but with two of her brothers missing and Blaise bullying her and Naeva more it wasn’t a very good day. She didn’t even want to hunt bugs today, which was one of her favorite pastimes. She didn’t want to be around a lot of others either… not when she wore a frown like this. She was supposed to help bring smiles, not reason for sads. Priscilla knew better than to disobey her mother though and so to the meeting she went.

The girl glanced up as they arrived, hanging back some. Her body language also spoke that there was something wrong, though she was sure her mother would talk to someone about her missing brothers. But unlike her siblings, who had gone to Torin, she moved a bit away, not wanting to be near Blaise. She eyed him about two wolf length’s away, fluffing up her fur as she sat by herself.

He felt odd to be here all alone, without Rory leading things. Part of him wondered if he would say things right at this meeting and part of him wanted to just forget having the meeting altogether. Though Winter was right around the corner and he had to bring extra awareness to the fact they needed to stock up on food. Though winter was milder in the West, they still had to ensure they were prepared. He sighed and was about to close his eyes for a moment when his ears caught the sound of the first pack member approaching. It was Zell and Frost was glad to see the man and his friendly greeting made Frost's mood a little better.

"Doing rather well and you?" he asked.

Next was one of the returning members and he was relieved to see he hadn't made a bad decision there. Every decision he had without Rory he questioned whether it was right or not. He smiled at Hailey as she greeted Zell, before turning his eyes back to the distance to see who was coming next. Kairi was next and her bubbly and friendly behavior uplifted his spirits, that girl never seemed to be down. She was always so upbeat and today she still seemed upbeat and happy. Torin was next, fallowed by Jewell and two of her kids. She was quick to approach him and let him know that two have gone missing dampening his mood again. Where would they have gone? Did the sire of the pups really find them and take them? Were they dead? He quietly took a deep breath as she went to sit down refocusing on the others showing up.

The rest filed in including another returning member, Fortune. He had been relieved to see almost everyone being prompt to the meeting. Rory, Faite, Kaine, & Miach were unaccounted for, along with the two boys missing from Jewell's clan. He looked to all the faces that were focused on him and was feeling more pressure from the last meeting, of course he hadn't ran that one.

"Thank you all for getting here rather quickly, a meeting was long overdue and I feel there is a few things that should be brought up and discussed. First and foremost Jewell's Children are now of age that they need mentors and I'm looking for volunteers from the older wolves to teach them skills. I need a hunter, a healer, a navigator, and a fighter to help teach these young minds." he started, getting straight to the point. He gave a brief pause looking for anyone to step forward or to speak out nominating themselves to the task. Then after the break he continued on with his other things.

"Secondly I would like all of you to warmly welcome back both Hailey and Fortune." he smiled looking to the two women. "Winter is just around the corner and I would like all of you to help our three hunters out in bringing in prey to stock up for the winter. I think it would be a good idea to hold a pack hunt soon also to try and bring down bigger prey."

"I would like to open the floor to ideas of festivities and training methods for some pack bonding, we've been a bit quiet and I'd like that to change. And I would like everyone to keep their eyes and ears open for two of Jewell's boys who have gone missing, Toulouse and Montagué. If anyone finds then they need to be brought back home, if it happens that they have been kidnapped then report findings to me and we will have to set up plans to get them back. Does anyone have anything they personally would like to bring up to the pack?" He felt it was good to have anyone be able to state what's on their minds or problems that they may have.

"Well enough despite the circumstances," He responed back. He of course, was sure that Frost knew what he was talking about. Faite and Rory had disappeared, and Zell was left to watch over their remaining kids. Not that they were kids anymore who needed watching...but they were always going to be his kids no matter what. He sat there quietly as the others came in, the pack looking relatively small but it was a better turn out then last time. He side eyed Torin for a moment, realizing that he hadn't had spent much bonding time with him, or Breasal. And Jaidah... He turned his head, searching for his other daughter, but she hadn't arrived. He hadn't really scented her around the pack lands for a while, and was growing increasingly worried. He leaned into Breasal for a moment, almost as if trying to comfort himself from the worries he had.

Once everyone gathered with the exception of a few, the meeting started. Frost spoke, and Zell listened quietly. It was true that a meeting was long overdue, and this meeting seemed to be both good news and bad news. Two returning members, Zell nodded his head to both Hailey and Fortune. It wasn't a proper welcome, but he would seek them out later to welcome them back and see if they needed help with anything. Frost mentioned that two of Jewell's kids were missing, and Zell couldn't say he was surprised about that. They probably took after her, wandering off when they weren't supposed to go beyond pack lands and getting into trouble somewhere. From what he saw and knew of her, she wasn't the type to instill any sort of discipline. That part always seemed to fall to him. Whether others would hate him for it, he didn't give a shit. The pack came first, and if others thought otherwise then they could kiss his butt.

Frost asked for volunteers to help train the remaining pups, and though Zell wasn't too keen on dealing with another colored horror for fear that they were just like their unruly mother, he supposed he would have to since he was the only real warrior here. "I'll volunteer to train whichever pup wants to excel in fighting. I'll say this now though, my training tactics are not for the faint of heart, nor will it be a time for play." He turned his gaze to the pups present, emphasizing that it would be serious if they so chose that field. "I would also like to say now, that I will be conducting several fight training and spar sessions soon, and it would be in the packs best interest to attend. Especially for those who don't know how to fight, so they can defend themselves to avoid certain accidents." The last part was in reference to Jewell. She had not only gotten into trouble once but twice. And she wasn't the only one who needed to learn to fight, either. He worried about Kairi and her carefree attitude, but she at least had been eager to learn when he taught her private lessons. She at least would be able to make any attacker struggle before they got what they wanted. Not only that, but whispers of things happening beyond Lirim borders were circulating, and he'd be damned if the rest of the pack weren't ready to handle it. "Perhaps we can do a sort of...tournament or festivity that revolves around fighting. Put to use what has been learned so far. It would help me gauge the abilities and knowledge of the pack to see who needs more training."

He didn't doubt Frost's ability to fight, but he had never seen the man fight either. And with Torin training to lead, he wanted to make sure his son would be ready in the event someone ever challenged him for that position.

Fortune did her best to not let her heart ache as Rin seemed to look right through her. Maybe she'd done something wrong in returning after all... a pang shot down her spine. She wouldn't think of it too much. There were other things that needed her attention, but... no. No, it would be okay. The brave couldn't be too concerned with it.

Frostbite started speaking, and Fortune did her best to follow along. Asking for hunters? Well, she could do that. "I can train for hunting... really, all of them would be best learning how to feed themselves." Her tone wasn't meant to be harsh, but per Fortune's usual, it was a bit more gruff than entirely necessary.

And then onto the next order of business. Jewell, the creature that Fortune had internally questioned Faite on taking in at the time, had... children? With who? The brave would find someone to ask about the whole situation later. That wasn't important now. More questions... she'd helped lead this pack once, standing in Frostbite's very position. Times had changed, but fundamentally, Fortune had not. "Not much for festivals, but it's fall. The herds will move on soon, it's important that we get as much hunting as possible done now before prey gets scarce." Tone gruff, intentions good. On the outside, it didn't look like Fortune had changed a bit.
