This Is War

Welcome to Breckenridge, Colorado. Surrounded by snow-covered mountains and rugged pine forests, the town is one of the few remaining refuges for humans and animals alike now that the United States is at war with itself. With Denver being a hot spot for military activity, many dogs have begun to migrate in a last, desperate attempt to survive.

A brutal winter is just coming to an end. Those dogs that have survived it are scattered and weak. To top it all off, new survivors are coming from the bigger cities and suburbs, trying to find some place that isn't littered with explosions and gunfire on a regular basis. With them they bring their own ideas and beliefs on how best to survive this cruel new world.

What the dogs don't know is that the war is beginning to move. The rebel Americans are loosing ground in the state of Colorado. The United States army is slowly pushing them back, closer to the Breckenridge safe haven. The federal army is determined to take back the state, while the rebels are willing to fight down to the last man standing.
