For once Odysseus was alone. Olafur had been busily braiding rope when the stoic giant had decided a walk would do him good. He wouldn't go far; even though Epitaph was tucked away safely in Abaven it would be unwise to leave him alone for too long. Boredom did strange things to the mind. Even ones stressed with fear weren't immune to its nudges for change.

So Odysseus promised to be back soon. He just needed a breather. A lot had changed for him recently and he hadn't yet had a chance to fully acclimate. Honestly being in a pack was still novel to him, so being tasked with the safety of another was just one more thing he had to get used to.

A sudden flash of light in the evening sky drew his attention upwards. He watched with mild interest as a shooting star faded from view. His attention grew keener as three or four shot across the sky at once.

"Odysseus" and "Olafur"

Unable to sleep, Ace decided to leave his den and go for a walk, hoping that that might ease the worries of his mind. He left his fox charges sleeping with Actaea and Ignis, knowing they would be safe and sound in the den together. He was getting used to living in Abaven with each passing day, but there was still that nagging feeling in the back of his mind as if there was something more out there for them. He wasn't quite sure what it was just yet, so he hoped this walk would help him clear his mind and figure it out. Lumbering towards the cliffs, he came across the trail of another pack member. Seemed like he wasn't the only one unable to sleep, or perhaps this man was out for something else. He hadn't yet met everyone in the pack, so he figured now was a good time as any to introduce himself to the warrior that he knew went by the name of Odysseus. Following the man's trail, he soon found him a bit further up the trail. He uttered a soft bark to let the man know of his approach, just in case he surprised him with his presence. Once close enough, he slowed to a stopped beside the male. "Beautiful night, eh?" He glanced up at the sky to see shootings stars sail across the sky before disappearing. He thought it was pretty interesting, and he often wondered where those stars disappeared to. speech action
