Thoughts are hard
Still on his quest to find the Abaven pack Leonce had found himself in a field with a decent amount of saplings. They had varying amounts of leaves still on the branches some were completely barren where others still had stragglers that were holding on to the last possible second. The difference with the north and the east's climate was rather intriguing to think about. The north was covered in snow and the east barely had any yet. it was like two different worlds colliding to be in the same stretch of land. Leonce's thoughts were hard to understand sometimes, even to himself.
Honestly Hannibal was willing to venture anywhere other then the north at this point. He hated snow and would do anything to steer clear of its path. He knew soon enough the majority of the lands would be tickled by it at some point, but he would deal with that when it came time. For now he found himself wandering the east, releasing his patrolling duties to another capable member of his pack for now. It seemed he was venturing out a lot lately, which would be due to his excitement and wonder for these new lands. Meeting new natives was breathing life into the beast and getting himself into trouble was keeping him on his toes. No one has gotten aggressive with the abrasive male yet, but he knew the time would come. Once Erovrare took off he was sure there would be drama to come and Hannibal would find a way to plop himself right in the middle of it all like the slippery serpent he was. Quickly the male found himself approaching another Wolf, the scent coming first and finally vision next. Hannibal stood still for a few moments in order to get an understanding of what this stranger was up to. He observed the black and white male wandering peacefully, no visible expression or demeanor. Neutrality, it seemed. With a quick nod the albino set off to get closer, not hiding his entrance in the slightest. As he got just about seven tail lengths away he piped up. "Afternoon." Hannibal stood with his head high and his tail higher, immediately exerting his disgusting dominance. He was not threatening but just showing this stranger who exactly he was dealing with. speech action |
Leonce perked his ears as he heard another voice come into the area. "Afternoon" the other voice said. He turned to find the wolf that the voice had come from and found yet another wolf that was taller than him. Leonce was starting to think this was a land of giants. |
Hannibal's dominant stance came naturally and it really didn't bother him any. Some had the tick of dominance in their blood and some did not. As his pale gaze fell upon the inferior creature it seemed he indeed.. did not. The questionable vocals proved his suspicions and the albino rolled his eyes ever so slightly. He could not stand dreadfully naive creatures and their terribly boring small talk. Hannibal remained in his stand which only consisted of perfect posture and an erect tail. It was nothing more then standing tall and put little to no strain on his muscular form. "You know nothing of what is good for me, boy." He was already annoyed which was saying something because he had quite a bit of patience as of late. "Why are you wandering out here alone?" speech action |
The other male remained in his awkward stance and Leonce brushed it off to the side. If he wanted to be uncomfortable then so be it, he wasn’t one to judge. He wasn’t sure how to respond to the male’s comment on him not knowing what was right for him. Leonce didn’t claim to know what was right for that male in specific, only wolves in general. Before he could completely think out what that thought truly meant for him the other wolf posed a question. Why was he out here alone? |
Hannibal was not easily entertained and it showed within this interaction. As soon as the opposing Wolf opened their mouth he was displeased to say the least. The albino wanted nothing more but to walk away but something in him kept his paws planted to the earth below. He would give the naive boy a few more minutes but making an escape. Leo's response was dismal and it called for some dramatic rolling of the eyes. Perhaps Hannibal was just not in the mood, more so then usual. "I suppose exploring is a good answer." With a shrug the male moved his eyes from the stranger and to the surrounding land to take in the sights. "Though, this place is not as interesting as it will be in the next few months." Spring would bring forth beautiful pink flowers blossoming upon the trees. speech action |
The other male didn’t seem to be as interested in the idea of exploring as Leonce was. Although he did have a good piece of advice, he supposed that it would make sense that come spring the trees would look even more majestic. He noted that, he would have to come back here when the trees started growing their leaves back. Leonce felt that their interaction was coming to a close and he didn’t wish to take up any more of the male’s time. He would give the male his closing remarks “Thank you for the advice, I will have to come back here then.” Starting to leave a thought caught at the back of his mind, he had never properly introduced himself. He couldn’t just let that slide now could he. “My apologies, I never did catch your name. Mine’s Leonce” After waiting for the male’s reply he would turn to leave once more, satisfied with the meeting. |
