She ran, ran as fast as she could and as far as she could manage. She was upset, torn, and needing someone familiar to be with. Leera had been kind and she had played it off as being on the women’s side, fearful that she may go back to Ty or worse, do her own physical damage to Thora. She couldn’t immediately find Cloud who was her first thought to confide in, so she simply tried to make her escape to go somewhere private to sort out her thoughts without those other members around. She was completely horrified at the thugs she was finding out about her brother, the great king that her mother had told her stories of.
She feared he was ill, or worse and she didn’t know what to do about it. Right now with her lack of social connection to her older brother she feared she couldn’t trust him and just needed time to sort her thoughts. Upon entering the gulley she slowed, huffing and puffing from her run. She hoped this would be far enough, but she now she simply remained on edge as she caught her breath. Moving slowly forward, her silvery eyes remained peeled, staring over the snowy terrain and looking for any potential danger. It wasn’t long before she came across a scent she knew to well and it made her freeze in her tracks. Could it really be? She quickly moved forward until the familiar form of her mother came into view. She helped in happiness and ran to her mother burying her face into her mother’s neck.
”Momma!” she quietly cried as she inhaled the familiar and soothing scent of her mother.
