What's the point of reminiscing

Slumped against a boulder that sat a little too close to a a cliff edge, Iskra watched the sun sun setting and sighed softly. Hadn't this been one of Crew's lands? Way back when Artemis was a part of that pack, when Iskra had struggled to decide to join and ultimately ended up taking too long. Maybe that was okay though. She didn't have to suffer the feeling of loss when the pack disbanded. Of course, she'd also ended up losing a lot of time with her sister. Both of her sisters. Somewhere out there Art and Leto had kids now which was... kind of weird to think about. Especially since despite having someone in her life - even though she'd almost fucked it up - Iskra still didn't have any. The whole topic was just... no fun to entertain. Grumbling quietly to herself, she tried to turn her mind to other topics while she watched the sun continue sinking behind the pastel colored clouds.

Iskra could decide what else to think about. Oh well, that was okay. Today was unusually warm and she was savoring the last rays of sunshine before the temperature dropped. Hanging a paw over the edge of the cliff, she closed her eyes for a little while and simply basked in the warmth.
