She was getting weaker, realizing this was hard for her. She had promised Thora to visit Ty and see what was going on and at this point she was beginning to feel like it would literally be the last thing she would do before death would take her. It was a horrible thing to think about, but she knew she was dyeing and had been surprised she had made it this far. She was so close to the pack, but she had to stop and take a rest. She had already been in this spot a whole day, but she needed a little longer before continuing on to visit Ty. She was also feeling depressed since finding out the news about her son, trying to figure out where in the world she had gone wrong. Being his mother, she of course blamed herself for the fact he was going on a darker path. In reality she had no idea that his father was filling him with the lore and stories of the family that didn't help to raise him. She wasn't eating which was making her even more weaker. Eli was desperately trying to cheer her up, but nothing he was doing was helping. Right now he was curled beside her as the snow lightly fell around them. "Talk" "You" Think

He was out tracking down prey movement, and while it wasn't necessarily part of his job description, he mostly wanted to get away from Abaven for a bit. Especially after what he had accidentally done to Shaye. It wasn't bad but he didn't think it was good either. He was confused, and being around pack lands right now didn't help. He tried not to feel anything, but he had to admit, her passion and fire was attractive. It wasn't that he couldn't help himself, either. He had always been able to control himself...except that once, apparently. He supposed he could try to blame the emotional stress he was under, but the truth was, he liked Shaye. He admired her, cared for her, but alas he knew it could never be. She had been pregnant with someone's pups, though he wasn't yet aware that they were Rhyme's. He shook his head as he scouted the terrain. His fox companions walking a little ways ahead of him, both holding something in their mouth. He had used every opportunity he could to teach them how to hunt, and they had proven to be fast learners. Finn held a snow hare in his jaws, while Lumi carried a rolled up deer fur they normally used as ground cover for the den, but she wanted to bring it along in case it got too cold. They walked along with their heads held high with pride, and he was pleased that they were doing so well despite the circumstances he had found them in. He wasn't completely aware that they were nearing someone else, not until the musky scent of a wolverine caught his attention. He uttered a warning growl to the foxes since they probably couldn't smell it with the fresh kills in their mouths. Narrower crimson gaze slowly scanned his surroundings, wondering if the wolverine was close. Several yards away through the trees, he spotted a form huddled up in the snow. Head cocked slightly, confusion settling in. That...looked like the size of a small wolf, and far too big to be a wolverine. Carefully he moved closer, the wolverine scent growing stronger but he could now smell a she-wolf. Was she...dead? Had she fallen victim to the vicious predator? The beginnings of a growl began to rise in his throat, but as he got a little closer, he began to notice that the wolverine seemed to be trying to keep the she-wolf warm. Hesitation settled in him as he let his growl die and his hackles lower a bit. His foxes looked at the pair with curiosity, though they kept their distance until it was safe. "Everything alright here?" He asked with a neutral tone. Part of him felt like it wasn't, seeing as how they were lying out in the snow and in the open. He could also see that the she-wolf looked thin...was she old? Or just undernourished? He couldn't see her face yet, so he couldn't tell just yet. speech action

She was relaxing, trying to get her strength back. She didn't know how long she would need to rest, but right now she definitely needed to. Maybe it was partly the cold from the winter, making things on her harder, but she didn't know for sure. It wasn't long before Eli began to tense, a low growl rumbling within his chest. She shifted herself, gently bumping him to calm himself down. He quieted and Storm was able to hear the soft approach of another. She didn't feel like moving from her comfortable position and remained there. Only when the male spoke did she stir, uncurling her head to look towards him. With her sightless eyes and her grizzled muzzle it would be easy for the male to see that she was older. Ears pointed forward towards the male. She nodded quietly a soft smile appearing on her lips. Her overall body language was friendly even though the wolverine was on edge. He had to be on edge anymore he was always fearful a predator or another wolf may attack her especially when she was so weak. "Fine, thank you, Just resting for a little bit," she replied. "It's a fairly pleasant winter day." She didn't know the male, but saw no harm in a little conversation. "Talk" "You" Think

He warily watched the wolverine by the womans side, making sure he kept his distance and posture non-threatening. He didn't want to alarm them, so he remained where he was for now. He wondered why she was laying out in the snow.  Wasn't she cold? She turned to him then, and he could see the gray on her black face and the lack of focus in her eyes. So, she was a blind old woman then... no wonder her companion was so on edge. It made sense now. "It is a pleasant day, but still fairly cold. It would be more comfortable somewhere a little warmer, " He suggested, though of course it was up to her whether she wanted to move or not.

He remained standing where he was, studying her and her companion. Ignis had a wolverine, too. But he didn't know much about its personality yet. He figured then that he should introduce them, "My name is Acere Praetor. And my two companions are Finn and Lumi, both foxes." He added that information about them in case she got worried about the smell of foxes in the area.

The wolverine remained calm, but vigilant. Watching the large white male and the pair of foxes. Storm let her mind mull over his words. She was cold, but she didn't have the strength to be searching for a place. Did this male know of somewhere they could go, somewhere warmer close by that she could go and rest? It was better for her to be warm and if this male was kind enough maybe he could even help her get there. "It would be nicer for somewhere warmer, is there one nearby?" she asked. He was so far keeping his distance, if he hadn't Eli would be growing more upset at the situation at hand. She thought it would be better to get up now, maybe some movement would help warm her a little. She slowly uncurled herself and pulled herself to her feet, stumbling a little until she was able to fully get balanced. When he introduced himself her ears would flick, knowing the last name. The same last name as Elias and the last name Tyranis now clung too. "Praetor? Are you any relation to Elias?" she had to ask. She withheld her emotions waiting for an answer. "Talk" "You" Think

"It would be nicer for somewhere warmer, is there one nearby?" He thought about it for a moment, trying to remember if they had passed one on the way here. He felt Lumi nudge his leg to get his attention, and when he leaned down she told him they had passed a couple old dens while Finn had been chasing his rabbit. "Yes, I do believe there are a couple abandoned dens not far from here," He stood back up and returned his attention to her. "I can guide you there if you'd like."He offered, though he wouldn't be offended if she chose to refuse his help.

What she said next made him freeze. She recognized his surname and of course...Elias. He frowned, and though she wouldn't see it, he scowled too. What the fuck did you do Elias? He hoped it wasn't anything bad, but he knew that was just wishful thinking. "He...is...or rather, was my brother..." He decided to go with the truth. Maybe he could try to fix whatever Elias had broken. Assuming she had a bad run in with him or something. "But we don't talk anymore." He held onto the details for now until he found out what kind of run in she had had with him, if any.

He offered to guide her which was a relief on her part and she nodded. It would be best right now for her and maybe she could actually get a good rest when they got to the spot. It would be nice to be out of this cold, which was starting to settle in now that she had thought about it.

“I would be grateful if you could,” she replied, glad for the help when she could get it.

The wolverine was quick to go to her side, guiding her closer to the male. As she moved towards him he began to reply to her question. Elias was his brother but he didn’t speak to him no more. She didn’t know what to think, did this mean this man was better the Elias. Since her meeting with Ty she feared that Elias had darkened her sons thoughts, but she wasn’t sure.

“Storm Wreckage,” she introduced herself wondering if this man would have known what Ty’s real surname was.

Maybe he had even met Cloud, it was hard to know. She hadn’t been real social when dauntless was around and who knows where Ace had come from.

She accepted his offer to help her find someplace warmer, so he'd wait a moment as her companion guided her towards him before setting off. He practically held his breath as he waited for her response to what he said, but all she said was her name. Wait, Storm Wreckage? The Storm Wreckage? He was surprised, and if she could see then she would have noticed immediately. Elias had mentioned her name before along with a few others. Hers stuck out the most.

"Storm Wreckage. It's an honor to meet you, " Though she couldn't see it, he dipped his head to her in respect. "I know your sons. Cloudburst and Tyranis." His voice was soft and gentle. He gestured to Lumi then, nodding towards Storm. Lumi understood and moved to approach storm, hesitantly, however, because she was wary of her companion. "I'd like for you to have this," He said, taking the deer hide from Lumi, "It's a deer hide, something to keep you warm." He would wait for her to accept or refuse it before trying to drape it over her like a blanket.

He was quiet for a moment and her hope that he may know one of her sons faded for a moment. Then he stated it was an honor to meet her and she would smile as he stated he knew her two boys. Her boys, two of her five original pride and joys. Despite how thier creation started she would not trade them for the world, they were her world. She didn’t expect to meet this male, but right now she was glad. Glad for his company and his kindness.

The wolverine would allow the approach of one of the foxes, knowing that right now none of the trio were a threat and he could see that they were being kind. Storm would smile as the male offered her a deer hide to help keep her warm, and she was grateful for it.

“Thank you,” she would say, accepting his offer and letting him drape it over her like a blanket.

“You know both of them well,” she would ask.

Her companion allowed their approach, so once the permission was given, they put the deer hide over her to keep her warm before stepping back. She offered her thanks and he dipped his head, "You're very welcome," He had always been curious about who the mother of his nephews was, and now here he was. Talking to her and noticing how gentle and old she seemed. It made him angry over what Elias had done to her, and the only good that had come out of it were her children. While Tyranis was likely lost to the whims of his father, at least the others seemed to have been raised pretty well. Or they just took after her more than they did Elias which, in his opinion, was much better for them.

"You know both of them well," He gazed at her for a moment before responding, "Yes, I suppose you could say that. I've been trying to watch over them while in Ruina, and even now. I'm aware that Tyranis and Cloud lead a pack together, but I'm afraid it might come at a cost." What with Tyranis trying to follow in his father's footsteps, he felt that sooner or later, it wouldn't be all that it was cracked up to be. That Elias would fail them again like he had failed everyone else before.
