Raider here
The situation he was in was just a stepping stone, literally. The stone wall here was not natural no matter how one looked at it. He pondered on it's function. To block wind? Nah, he just couldn't get his head around the logic. Maybe the locals know something about it. Then again these rocks look like they've been there for ages. Whatever they were for, they didn't seem to work as intended.
As soon as he lost interest, Striden made the effort to claim up whatever was left and use it as a vantage point. The wind made it chilly but that was nothing he couldn't handle. The area seemed to be quite flat. It wouldn't be too difficult to spot creatures from afar. However they would probably be able to see him just as well. Not that it matter at this stage, he'll just enjoy the chilly air for the time being.
Clementine walked along the wall with a supple smile upon her inky lips. Her black flag flicked in the brisk breeze. The wind allowed her thick winter's coat to dance upward and twirl with the frosty air. The babe's slender runner's bodice seemed larger due to her fluffy coat but it was evident she held onto her health. Little to no bulk weight lingered upon her bones for Clem was slim and and of average height. She allowed her right side to rub against the oddly placed stone at points to enjoy the coolness on her skin. Yet, as she wandered along a scent filled her nose. Clem slowed her roll and opened jaws to taste whoever may be close by. A male.. rogue. He did not smell of any packs she knew of, thus after a few moments the babe shrugged and continue on her way. Not before long the obsidian girl let her silver gaze to fall upon that of a white male seated on top of the wall. A little grin slipped across her lips as she moved to delightfully trot in his direction. She was sure not to emit any abrasive demeanors nor submissiveness. Clementine was a neutral sight and held the pride of her pack on her shoulders. Still near the wall she stopped at about tail lengths away from the male but he would have to look downward in order to see her at his front. "Greetings!"

A voice caught his attention. Welp someone managed to get to him before he could spot them. At least he had the high ground. He turned to face them, looking below towards a dark female who seemed to have a pride of her own. Striden replied calmly "Oh, didn't see you there." That was a bad joke actually, it was inspired by her standing a bit in the shadow.
He cleared his throat as if taking note that he probably shouldn't have said that. He still stood proudly though, his head was up while looking down. "It's a fine day isn't it?" He said in attempt to start a conversation.
Clementine enjoyed meeting new Wolves, especially those who shared similar enthusiasm. Kesali was full of lovely Wolves but there was something about rogues that intrigued the babe. They were a rare find and it was their way of life that intrigued her. She had only been alone when traveling to join up with Branch, other then that Clementine was always a member of a pack. It was the only life she knew. The stranger's response called forth a beaming smile. As her glacial eyes observed his form the woman offered a gentle nod. It seemed she had taken him off guard which seemed to happen rather often. But, the femme decided not to dwell. Why make the boy uncomfortable? Thus, as he proposed a question Clementine deepened her radiating toothy grin. "Oh yes! Winter is finally calming and spring is upon us! I cannot wait to see these barren lands blossom with life as the weather grows warmer." The dappled and striped fae tilted her head, "Are you from around here?"

He decided to continue his little play. He looked at her again half in thought to give the impression he was looking for answers. "This place is a bit too open and empty, one would have to be tough and crazy to live here."
Clementine studied the frosty Wolf with beaming bright eyes. His answer was a bit odd and she wasn't too sure how to respond. How was one.. maybe from around here? Perhaps the obsidian babe was misunderstanding. After all she was dealing with an outsider, maybe he was actually confused as to where he was? The Wreckage offered a tilt of her head as she thought over his last statement. "I agree. My family resides in the south to avoid these harsh conditions." Clem wasn't too concerned with revealing information about Kesali. They were a strong and growing pack and one rogue wouldn't be a threat. "My name is Clementine Wreckage, by the way. Who are you?"

Of course the details of her family being south was not missed. Harsh here? Depends really. "Some areas around here aren't that bad. But as a loner I wouldn't recommend it." He said response to her first words. If he wasn't used to these areas he'd probably be having a hard time. It wasn't the case so life was good! For now.
